Yes, I am using smtp... I would have thought that would be better?? Im using google apps for my email and I have a dedicated email for the website. I just tried using php instead of smtp and its much much faster! I still get the fatal error on step 3 as described in my reply to JoeMartin. The Order change AND Order creation takes much shorter now though... its only about 10 seconds to load now instead of 30-40 before! So this did help a lot. Still seems like there is some problem, 10 sec is also a little to long isn't it? Here is the error report when sending email with php + profiling set to true:

Im doing an order as you suggested, and as I arrive on the "choose payment method", I get a this Fatal error: as I arrive on the 5th step, it loads very fast, but for some reason it say's that some update sql command is taking almost 14 secs... here is the first part of that report: Then as I press the "Place My Order", it takes a long time 30+ seconds, then I get a "redirect in 5 seconds" in french for some reason which I think interrupts the report because the report say's that Im a good boy... which I cant be with a 30+ sec delay as customers press the buy button. Hi all, Im using prestashop 1.5.4.1 and all was working well until I started having some serious problems with my store snyrtivorur.is which describes itself by super long loading times at order creation and at order status changes in the BO. The configuration Information page also takes about 30-40 sec's to load. I've enabled "_PS_MODE_DEV_" and "_PS_DEBUG_PROFILING_" in the defines.inc.php file and got these screenshots from the Configuration information report. I also took screenshots of the status change but that was 15 images and it looks like my attachment size is limited here so i cant post them all, but here is the first page: I see that initContent is taking 33 seconds on the configuration page (attachment 1), but im not sure how to go from there. Most of my problems relate to orders or the order process and my guess is that its some sql error, but I really don't know how to problemsolve from here.. any help greatly appreciated Feel free to make an order under a fake account and pay with wire transfer, its at the point of payment (order creation) that the page hangs.
