product related to specific categories.is it possible to give ID of category from admin amd it should display product related to that category on home page

if i want multiple categories to display on home page and category id should be assign from admin side.so is it possible?

what should i do if i want to make shipping caharges 0 for perticular city.there is no option in prestashop to manage shipping charges by city.

Hi All We are tying to upgrade prestashop 1.5.4.x to 1.6.0.8. But after upgrade we are unable to configure the modules. When we configure them, it says updated successfully but changes are not saved in database. Hence when we open it again, its blank. Can anyone help us understanding what's happening. Thanks

Please help. We are stuck in between 1.5 and 1.6. We have mode some custom changes into 1.5 and have revert those changes to upgrade it to 1.6. Our payment gateway nodule only works on 1.6 so we have to upgrade it.

Hi We are try to upgrade our current version of prestashop V1.5.4.1 to new Prestashop V1.6.0.8 as payment modules that we are trying to integrate doesn't support 1.5.x. Issue that we are having is, after upgrading to 1.6.x we are unable to save any module configuration. For example, if I add our contact detail in "Contact Information block" and click on save, it says configuration updated but when I reopen that module, its blank. we have upgraded with 1 click upgrade module. you mean to say in Preferences -> Images? I have but my issue is, I am compression image by removing unnecessary meta data using RIOT and prestashop creates its own version of the images for different sizes which adds this unnecessary meta data and increase file size. To be more specific, I have configured thicbox_default size to 1000x1141. This is used for zoom box. I updated image with 1000x1141 dimensions but on the page PS displays its own image of the same size 1000x1141 but larger in size then my image.

Hi I am trying to speed up my store by optimizing images in my store. But the problem is, after I upload my optimized image, prestashop creates its own version of images in different sizes which are larger than my original image as its not optimized. How can I deal with this issue? Regards modest

ok, so I can assume that there is nothing wrong with my site. I was thinking problem is in my site as it was working fine before. Even after applying few custom updates, it was still working fine for few weeks but that all of sudden it started causing this issue therefore I thought problem could be in one of the update.
