  1. I do want it. I deleted my v1.4 when trying to upgrade to v1.6.....that's that you get for being a newbie and taking on the work myself. I cant find the same PayPal module to add it to my new BO
  2. Previously when using v1.4 I was using PayPal to accept payments. The module was free and easy to integrate. Is there no similar PayPal AddOn for v1.6 or is there a similar one that has replaced it. Thanks
  3. Is it possible to export the data in table "ps_x" to "psu_x" or rename the tables so the ps_x becomes psu_x and as a result all the information is taken from the old tables! Arrrrgghh!! Im going to have to start from fresh; add all my products, images, etc, again??
  4. Yes!! So I am urgently trying to import my products (most importantly) onto the site; and customer details, if possible!
  5. Bugger - I assumed I could backup the DB and re-import it! Being a newbie doesnt help in my cause! Thanks, I'll read the link!
  6. I did a back up of my DB and when I installed the new Prestashop, it requested the Table Prefix, which was set to "ps_" by default during installation. However it would not let me save "ps_" so I used "psu_" and it allowed me to complete the rest of the installation. BO is working OK Tried to Import my original DB but now I have a set of tables called psu_ and another set called ps_ Is there a way to import all the files into the psu_ table so the site will reflect the data I had or are the two versions incompatible?
  7. How do I do that? If I go to ps_customer on phpMyAdmin; it is the database for all the customers - there is no way of changing settings.
  8. At this point, I have changed out the following... Classes Folder > Address AddressFormat Contact Customer Controller> AddressContorller AddressesController AuthController CartController FrontController MyAccountController OrderDetailContoller OrderOpcContoller What other folders should I change, or am I best deleting all folders and replacing them all; or do I risk loosing all customer information that I have already. Sorry, very new to all this, since the person who used to look after all our issues, no longer works at doing it!
  9. Thank you Pascal. Can you advice which files I am best replacing - I am not sure that the ones I tried above would solve the issue, or if there are potentially more files that need updating. Cheers!
  10. Ahhhh, fixed the problem with "Last Name" not appearing under "Your Address" However I've still got the original issue An error occurred while creating your address. When this error occurs, the customers Name, Email Address and Age, all appear, but none of their address details - where is this data populated from? Anyone got the original file...I may have changed it beyond repair, trying to resolve the other issues! Thanks in advance! Curran
  11. Anybody with any suggestions - tried so many things now!! Is there any way of getting the original files, any that have to do with Registration and Addresses? For "Create your account", under "Your Address", I am now missing "Last Name" and "Company" (not such a problem) and I have tried Shipping > Countries > Ireland > Address Format and the settings are as follows... firstname lastname company vat_number address1 address2 postcode city Country:name phone Still having issues!!
  12. Folks, Need a bit of help, urgently. I was attempting to disable the "Zip / Postal Code" as a required field in the registration process. I wasnt having any success, and now, customers are unable to register correctly. The follow error appears: "An error occurred while creating your address" I attempted to change all the files back to the original settings.... classes/Address.php classes/AddressFormat.php controllers/AddressController.php controllers/AddressesController.php controllers/AuthController.php Using the following site as a source: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop-1.4 Now, however, the registration process errors out looking for a last name; it shows in the Personal Information, but not under the Your Address. So now, I dont know if the above has solved the original issue, and I just have this issue, or if Ive got two issues! Any help would be appreciated. Curran
  13. Tried lots of various things after lots of searching, and none were successful. Stumbled across this and following on from that; this - it seemed like a logically solution; I updated the Classes > Tools.php, however there doesnt seem to be a "controllers/admin/AdminLoginController.php" in version 1.4 Anyone know what the similar solution would be for 1.4 from the solution from 1.5 above would be? Thanks!
  14. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks for your time! Curran
