product quantities reset to 0! IMPORTANT

I am using prestashop v1.5.1 (spanish version)

 

Bug:

If i go to Products section, and make ANY change (in any of the categories: price, seo, etc...) when I click on "save" or "save and stay" (I dont know if that is the english translation because I am looging at the options in spanish), the quantity of the product is reset to 0.

 

The only way I have found to be able to save product quantity is to go to the quantity section, write the quantity and then click outside the textfield. This action saves immediately the quantity (it looks like a jquery save). If I then click on save button, the quantity is reset again with 0 value!

I got the same problem on 1.5.0.17: The quantity reset to 0 every now and then. Also, and I don´t know if this is related but it seems to be, attributes disappears from the database so I have to reset the database from backup.

I have had this issue like 5 or 6 times now.. driving me crazy with so many orders and products in my shop..

Using 1.5.3.1 have upgraded a few times since first install. No help.

On my 1.5.3 install whenever I change any settings in:

 

BO -> Preferences -> Products

My quantities in the table "ps_stock_available" are being manipulated into zeros.

 

I take a backup everyday and whenever it resets I import the table from my backup, taking care to double check with any orders made in between my backup and restoration of said backup.

 

I havent found a solution yet, but at least I can fix it without having to manually enter product amounts on my 1000 products.. :-)
