Why choose PrestaShop Metrics?
Designed to help you make decisions with confidence
What's new on PrestaShop Metrics Advanced?
How can I make sure the provided data is reliable?
The transactional data (orders, revenue, carts,...) is coming directly from your store. The acquisition data (sessions, uniques visitors, canals,...) is coming from your Google Analytics account. That way, relying on expertise of both sources, PrestaShop Metrics solution guarantees 100% reliable data.
How do I switch to the advanced plan if I already have the module installed?
If you already have the module installed, you need to update it to have access to the new features. The module is free to download and you will have access to the basic version of the service, from there you can choose to upgrade to the Advanced plan directly from the dashboard.
Why am I restricted to a 3-month range to display my stats?
To optimize our data requests and guarantee a performant service, the free version of the service can only allow you to request data for the last 3 months.
With the Advanced plan you will have access to up to 14 months of historical data with no impact on your website performance.
Do I need a PrestaShop Account to use the module? How do I benefit from it?
PrestaShop Account is a unique account allowing you to connect different new PrestaShop services to your store and ease their management in common. You will need to connect an account or create one to activate the rest of this module. This account can be used to connect to another service afterwards, like PrestaShop Checkout.
Do I need a Google Analytics account to use that service?
To fully enjoy PrestaShop Metrics and benefit visits statistics, you will be asked to connect your Google Analytics account while configuring this module. If you don’t have one yet, please create an account on Google Analytics.
My Google Analytics account is connected, but there is no tag installed on my store.
Your Google Analytics tag sends data and events from your store to Google Analytics. PrestaShop Metrics can detect automatically if a tag is already implemented. If you have a warning about the missing tag, please install one to send this data to Google Analytics. You can implement it easily with the native PrestaShop module Google Analytics.
I can't connect to Google Analytics or I am told I have no properties, what should I do?
We have not been able to identify your Google Analytics account.
- First check that your Google Analytics account is correctly created/configured by visiting the Google Analytics website. Your Google Analytics account must contain at least one property.
- Once your Google Analytics account is correctly configured, go back to the PrestaShop Metrics configuration page (refresh the page if needed) to try the connection again.
- If the problem persists despite the relevance of your Google Analytics account, please contact us by following the contact link available on the same page.
My Google Analytics does not correspond to the logged Google Analytics account in the module.
PrestaShop Metrics can detect automatically if a Google Analytics account is present on your store. If you have that kind of message, that means it is not linked to the same account that you just logged in with. It is probably used with another account.
Please change the Google Analytics account used in PrestaShop Metrics to match the one used for your Google Analytics tag. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support team with the button on the Help tab.
Are my previous statistics blocks still available on my Dashboard?
By activating PrestaShop Metrics, your previous statistics graphs in the Dashboard by default are automatically deactivated to avoid overloading your dashboard. However, these modules have not been uninstalled and can be reactivated in one click from your module parameters page. Also, your Stats tab in your menu stays available and untouched.
Can I use multistore mode with PrestaShop Metrics?
Unfortunately not yet. We are currently working on making this feature available soon.
What do I get by subscribing to the Advanced plan?
The Advanced plan allows you to go further in analysing your data.
- You can now go as deep as 14 month of data history, allowing you to compare your monthly data year-on-year.
- You can also see your data of the current day, to monitor your activity in real-time.
- With the tabbed navigation, you can deep dive into three dimensions of your data: Business, Acquisition, and Customer Knowledge.
