How can I be sure that the data provided is reliable?
Transactional data (orders, revenue, carts, etc.) comes directly from your store. Acquisition data (sessions, unique visitors, channels, etc.) comes from your Google Analytics account. Thus, by relying on the expertise of both sources, the PrestaShop Metrics solution guarantees 100% reliable data.
How can I be sure that my website will not be slowed down by the weight of data?
Through daily synchronizations, your data are now stored on a dedicated external server so that your activity will not be slowed down and your website will always be performing well.
How is my monthly rate calculated?
Your rate is calculated according to your monthly turnover, allowing us to offer you a rate in line with your activity.
What happens if my turnover changes?
The amount of your subscription will be updated automatically on the anniversary date of your subscription. We base the calculation of the amount on the average turnover of the last 3 months. You will be notified by email of this change.
Can I use the multi-store mode with PrestaShop Metrics?
No, the multi-store mode is not available, you will be asked to choose the store you want to use during the configuration.
What are the new features of PrestaShop Metrics?
New features are available, you can now export your key figures in a personalized way and schedule a summary of your activity by email on a weekly or monthly basis.
Why do I need to have a PrestaShop account to use the module?
PrestaShop Account is a unique account that allows you to connect different new PrestaShop services to your store and facilitate their management together. You will need to connect an account or create one to activate the rest of this module. This account can be used to connect another service later, like PrestaShop Marketing with Google for example.
Do I need a Google Analytics account to use this service?
To take full advantage of PrestaShop Metrics and benefit from visit statistics, you are advised to connect your Google Analytics account when configuring this module, although you can use the module without it.
My Google Analytics account is connected, but no tag is installed on my store.
Your Google Analytics tag sends data and events from your store to Google Analytics. PrestaShop Metrics can automatically detect if a tag is already present on your store. If you receive a warning about the absence of a tag, please install one to send this data to Google Analytics. Get more information on how to set it up by visiting this page.
I can't connect to Google Analytics or I am told I have no properties, what should I do?
We have not been able to identify your Google Analytics account.
- First check that your Google Analytics account is correctly created/configured by visiting the Google Analytics website. Your Google Analytics account must contain at least one property.
- Once your Google Analytics account is correctly configured, go back to the PrestaShop Metrics configuration page (refresh the page if needed) to try the connection again.
- If the problem persists despite the relevance of your Google Analytics account, please contact us by following the contact link available on the same page.
My Google Analytics does not correspond to the logged Google Analytics account in the module.
PrestaShop Metrics can detect automatically if a Google Analytics account is present on your store. If you have that kind of message, that means it is not linked to the same account that you just logged in with. It is probably used with another account.
Please change the Google Analytics account used in PrestaShop Metrics to match the one used for your Google Analytics tag. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support team with the button on the Help tab.
