A new version of PrestaShop is available since yesterday, the V1.2 beta 1.

This one fixes many bugs from the previous version, but it is still a test version and should not be used in production.

Today, PrestaShop unveils its new Website: PrestaStore, the official marketplace dedicated to improving upon the PrestaShop shopping-cart software.

This new Website will bring together the modules and themes developed for PrestaShop, a world leader in open-source e-Commerce.

PrestaShop lance aujourd'hui son dernier né : PrestaStore, première plateforme officielle consacrée à PrestaShop, la solution e-commerce open-source.

Ce nouveau site est destiné à centraliser l'ensemble des contributions (modules & thèmes) développées autour de PrestaShop.

Une semaine après l'annonce officielle de notre Barcamp, nous comptons déjà 85 personnes présentes !

Depuis hier, le blog de PrestaShop.Me est lancé ! Ce dernier est dédié au service d'hébergement « clé-en-main » de PrestaShop, et plus généralement au e-Commerce.

Quel que soit votre niveau en informatique, ce blog vous permettra de retrouver des actualités pertinentes à l'ouverture et à l'optimisation de votre boutique en ligne. Pour ce qui est des commentaires, nous souhaiterions qu’ils deviennent un moyen de communiquer entre passionnés du e-Commerce et plus particulièrement des services « clé-en-main » tels PrestaShop.Me.

Quelques jours après la sortie de la 1.0, la communauté rentrait de vacances bien méritées, le développement de la 1.1 débutait doucement et surtout arrivait une avalanche de bugs jusqu'ici insoupçonnés.

The long-awaited version 1.1 of the PrestaShop e-Commerce Solution—now available as a beta release—features many new functions and fixes. The following is an incomplete list of what to expect.

Après 100 jours de travail acharné, l'équipe PrestaShop est fière de vous présenter la version 1.1 beta 2. Beaucoup de nouvelles fonctionnalités et d'améliorations au programme : listes cadeaux, parrainage, commentaires clients... et bien plus encore !

Vous êtes toujours de plus en plus nombreux à travailler au quotidien avec PrestaShop (graphistes, développeurs, agences web...) et c'est pourquoi nous mettons à votre disposition deux nouveaux outils

PrestaShop est utilisé par beaucoup d'entre vous en Grande-Bretagne et nous avons souhaité en savoir un peu plus, sur le terrain.
C'est donc par un temps frais et ensoleillé que Londres nous a accueilli hier matin ! (Véridique)

Good news! PrestaShop is currently among the leaders of open source e-Commerce software in terms of page views to its Website.

Now that we've released the first stable, production-ready version of PrestaShop, we don't have time to just lean back with a refreshing summer drink and count the downloads (over 18,000 in the first week). There's simply too much work to do.

Everyone at PrestaShop is excited and not a little relieved to see v1.0 stable finally see the light of day. It's not easy building professional-grade software from scratch, as any developer will tell you.

Many of our developers will now take some well-deserved time off to live their lives and recharge their batteries. They're tired of fixing bugs and are looking forward to spending more developing new features for PrestaShop.

In the meantime, below is a preview of our international press release coming out on Monday.

Last Thursday, in reponse to numerous requests on our Forum, we put our new Donation Page online. Within an hour we had received our first donation!

Our 19th and final pre-v1.0 beta release is now available for download. PrestaShop v1.0 RC5 is the most stable and complete v1.0 release candidate to date. It had better be—the next release will be the official version of the PrestaShop e-Commerce Solution 1.0!

One of the most rewarding aspects of creating an open-source e-commerce solution is witnessing the steady increase in enthusiasm coming from around the world. As we approach the release of our first stable version, PrestaShop v1.0, visitors are coming from countries from every continent and quite a few islands, as well.

With the release of PrestaShop v1.0 Release Candidate 4, the PrestaShop team has taken a big step in stabilizing its e-commerce shopping-cart solution. The final stable version 1.0 is right around the corner!

PrestaShop e-Commerce Solution version 1.0 is close to completion. The third release candidate of v1.0, build 1.0.0.3, resolves many bugs and adds new functionality. It should also prove more stable than the previous release candidates, and it comes with beta versions of 11 new languages. These new features will be available in PrestaShop version 1.0.0.3 (RC3):

Put the champagne on ice and iron your best suit: PrestaShop e-Commerce Solution v1.0 is available for sneak previews as a release candidate (RC). After the final kinks are worked out of this release candidate, version 1.0 will officially be launched as a stable, production-ready e-Commerce shopping cart that is, as always, free and Open-Source.

The release date of PrestaShop e-Commerce Solution version 1.0 is fast approaching.  Rest assured that the PrestaShop team is working hard to make v1.0 available as soon as possible. In addition to fixing the remaining bugs in v0.9.7, we are also putting the finishing touches on a new slate of features.

The following represents the latest roadmap of major features to be included by v1.0. There will be other, minor features included, as well.

With the release of PrestaShop versions 0.9.6 and now 0.9.7, the beta phase of development enters its final stage.  There’s a lot yet to be done, but we’re starting to get excited about the upcoming delivery of our official stable version, PrestaShop 1.0.

Much of our excitement comes from the reactions we’ve been getting of late from our terrific user community and the Web community at large.

Within the past month, PrestaShop has been mentioned favorably on well-known software review Websites such as Webappers, FeedMyApp, Killer Startups, and Web Resources Depot.

Get the checkered flag ready. The race to PrestaShop v1.0 is in the final stretch.

Yes, version 0.9.5 is still a beta. There are bugs. But it’s the most sophisticated and stable build so far. To us, PrestaShop software is finally starting to resemble the PrestaShop of all those flowcharts, business plans, PowerPoint presentations, and late-night brainstorming sessions.

However, now is not the time for nostalgia.  The final push has only just begun---the goal is to release our official 1.0 version of the PrestaShop e-Commerce Solution in just over a month.

It’s been a hectic two weeks here at PrestaShop. Every time we thought the new v0.9 was ready to hit the stage, we’d get another show-stopping bug.

On the other hand, the extra time meant that we could add a lot more new functionality than originally planned---thus the version jump from 0.8.5.1 to 0.9.

As open-source software (OSS) gains respect in the eyes of the mainstream computer user with success stories such as Firefox, Java, Linux, and MediaWiki (the software used by Wikipedia), more businesses are turning to open-source software as legitimate answers to their software needs.

PrestaShop, a leader in open-source e-Commerce, announced today the release of an important update to its free e-Commerce software as well as the unveiling of its newly redesigned Website, PrestaShop.com.

PrestaShop™ e-Commerce software v0.85 features improved English and French translations, database modeling, and usability, as well as a Chinese translation and new module versions for Paypal™ and Google™ Sitemap. Numerous bugs have also been repaired.
