  1. Currently, there are no default / free ways to send a newsletter via the Prestashop admin. However, there is a way of exporting your customer details and easily importing them / using the data in conjunction with a newsletter program. To do this, you first need to log in to your Prestashop admin. Next, navigate to the modules section on the left hand side and click on 'modules'.Install the "CSV Export for Newsletters" using this you can export the list of your customers to whom you want to send letter. Once you have the file, you can input the data into newsletter software. There are paid and free versions out there. For example one paid modue is http://www.fmemodules.com/en/72-advance-newsletter.html that can reduce the hassle of exporting the emails in csv. I hope you have found this reply useful
  2. This is not an easy task but you would need to edit your product.tpl page. Choose what you want to change (i.e. H2 tags to <p> tags for example.) As far as the font. once you change the tags, you will need to edit the css file associated with the tags (usually default.css but your theme may be different) Note: ALWAYS make a backup of any file you change so you can revert back to original in case of an error. To be rank no. 1, you should have to optimize the backend settings of PrestaShop as given in htis guide. http://cmsmart.net/blog/7-steps-to-optimize-prestashop-store-for-best-performance.html
  3. Please let me know that adding this code blocks the whole domain from crawling? What to do in the case, if I want to disallow only certain pages. Then how will be this code?
  4. Multi-language site is most important for business because some countries like Brazil and Spain prefer their own languages rather than just remaining on universal language English. I have seen one site that was only applicable in English i.e. xyz.com/en/ and when i tried to open it in Brazilian language i.e. xyz.com/br/ it opened liked a shit, All mixed up.Therefore, it is better to use multi-language.
  5. By default feature of PrestaShop in Preferences>SEO URLs removes the un-necessary characters from the urls. Only products ids will appears after turning it on. Although these IDs don't too much matter for SEO however, if you've requirement to remove them. You can use Pretty URLs Module of 3rd party.
  6. Hi, it is just easy to do that from PS backend. go to Preferences menu>SEO & URLs sub-menu, on the page that opens scroll down to the panel labeled Set Up URLs where you will find canonical urls options. You can follow this tutorial also ; For more help you can follow this tutorial www.templatemonster.com/help/prestashop-1-6-x-how-to-enable-and-use-seo-friendly-urls.html let me know if you need any other info about this
  7. The things which I have noticed here that You are missing the categories i.e. Phones/Apple You need Product ID at the end as you mentioned here 16GB-White-id You are not seeing any url rewriting option at Preference>Seo and urls page?
  8. Why not update your meta title and description according to the name of the product on that page.
  9. You can use the same site for multi-language, all you have to do is to use a language pack. Step by steps guide is given here, hopefully you can do it easily. www.leotheme.com/blog/prestashop/272-how-to-translate-prestashop-1-6-theme-and-modules.html
  10. I am pretty sure that you can remove a # sign from the url using module like PrestaShop Pretty URLs.
  11. Make sure to turn on the Clean SEO and urls option in Preference:>SEO and URLs By turning it on, you can get a clean url as you said above, but if you don't want an a prodcut id also, you have to use a PrestaShop Pretty URLs Module for this purpose.
  12. As you build the site recently, about one weak ago. You might have to wait for sales and traffic. As long as you are saying that no traffic is coming, it may be due to false integration of Google Analytic with your Store. Please check it again and wait for the time when all the pages will indexed. However sales takes time because customers takes time for building trust on a new store.
  13. Google analytic is best from all others tracking software. Make sure that you have correctly installed Google Ana. Module and placed user id in it as can be seen in this tutorial ; bestcmsplugins.com/prestashop-1-6-x-how-to-add-google-analytics-tracking-code/
  14. "Then adding a checkbox list of features to be installed to the PrestaShop installer to give everyone the choice." Just an awesome idea, PrestaShop should ask during installation that whether you want to do a custom installation or typical(default) installation. @thepan you have not mentioned here speed as some others users said here, do you satisfied with the current speed and loading time of PrestaShop?
  15. Hopefully some of the issues will be addressed in PrestaShop 1.6.1.0 which is expected in July 2015. I think there is long time ahead for occurrence of PrestaShop 1.7.
