Ah yes I created a module for preorder items And I can't tell you how to do what you want cause I'm working in other things in my web, I and still didn't reach that point like the sections of each... Is just to add an if quantity<=0 }peorder{else etc I supose but it have not too much sense, cause what will happen when you really will be outofstock? I have the backorder when i accept orders when in zeros preorder, before the product is realesed, also in zeros but with an specified date for everyone sorry if my english is worst than yours lol I also speak spanish and a little of french if you want to contact me

That happends when you uninstall and install again. it didnt work for me too have to wait For the problems that give after uninstall: delete de feature class in /override/classes adminfeat... in /override/controllers/admin de directory blocklayered from override/modules and delete the class_index.php from cache
