  1. You should never try to use external email services like google or yandex, or somewhat else because they don't give you any chance to send emails through them. I've finally found how to send emails using smtp. You should create an email box on your hosting provider server. You can set up ssl smtp in your Prestashop settings and all will be OK. Good Luck!
  2. I make this the next way. I copy all needed pics to my hosting where my shop is hosted. Then I write this relative paths to my csv file and all works fine. I am not sure about external links. They should also work. Try to add link to some pics that are not on your google drive but somewhere else.
  3. I don't know why gmail doesn't work (ssl settings exist for gmail account and it doesn't use Starttls, I think) I tried to set up email on yandex.ru and mail.ru but they don't work because I try to send email from an external resource such as my provider server. And they block such tries. I've ended up with creating email on my hosting provider server. Settings are the same for SSL connection as for the most other services. But it works because mail goes from the same server. It makes sense to say that I use masterhost.ru as a provider. So good luck
  4. Hi, guys! Does somebody use smtp in Prestashop? I know that Presta works with smtp in old-fashioned way. But smtp in Presta doesn't handle modern encription Modern day SMTP servers require the use of STARTTLS, which is not supported by the 8 year old software Prestashop. What mail service you use to get Presta smtp work? Thanks!
  5. so what email services would you recommend that do not use STARTTLS?
  6. Hi! Presta (1.6.0.14) doesn't send emails through smtp. I have to use smtp because of a windows hosting. I made all as it's written here: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS16/E-Mail+Parameters. All is useless. Presta shows me the next message Authentication failed using username '***@gmail.com' and password '********' Does smtp work in Presta? Thanks!
  7. Hello! I have made a prestashop 1.6.0.14 online shop. And when a user makes an order the site pops out an error page with the next content: "TCPDF ERROR: [image] Unable to get image: /img/tmp/product_mini_2_0.jpg" Image exists at the given path. Site address: storageway.ru. What could be a reason of this behavior? Thank you for any suggestions and help!
  8. Yeah, thank you. So I should conclude that we have two glitches. 1) cart block module shows Free shipping when it shouldn't. 2) cart block module doesn't have a proper localization that leads us to the situation when "Free shipping" is shown non localized.
  9. Nevertheless I suppose this is a glitch. Localization doesn't work correctly with this module.
  10. I also have 1.5.6 version of the block cart module. Thanks for pointing out the name of the module. I have finally managed to fix this by changing a file here: www/themes/default-bootstrap/modules/blockcart/blockcart.tpl you should alter a string number 146 {if !($page_name == 'order-opc') && (!isset($cart->id_address_delivery) || !$cart->id_address_delivery)}{l s='To be determined' mod='blockcart'}{else}{l s='Free shipping!' mod='blockcart'}{/if} Change "Free shipping!" to something that you want to be shown and it will be shown when block cart module thinks that free shipping is free )
  11. It looks like an obvious glitch. There is no free shipping in my catalog and there is in my shopping cart. And yes. I cleared my cache and tried different browsers including android browser. Could you please check it for me? 1. Add some goods to your cart. 2. Go back to catalog. 3. Check cart drop down list (there should no be Free shipping sign) 4. Go to your cart. 5. Check cart drop down list (there should be Free shipping sign). Thank you!
  12. Hi there! I am experiencing a problem since version 1.6.0.9 to 1.6.0.14 (I didn't install Presta before 1.6.0.9). I am trying to turn off free shipping in my presta and I have not succeeded too much in this. I wanted to make all this not altering any scrypts. My actions: 1) disabled all cart rules (Price rules -> Cart Rules) 2) set up Free shipping from 15000 roubles and 25 kgs (Shipping -> Prefences) 3) changed translation of "Free shipping" to "Не выбрана" (Not chosen) (Localization->Translations->Modify translations ->Select your language to Russian -> Modify -> Expand all fieldsets -> and here I changed every translation of Free shipping to "Не выбрана") So it was this way: Free shipping! = "Бесплатная доставка!" and had become this way: Free shipping! = "Не выбрана" I suppose that's all I did. What I got after actions described above is: "Бесплатная доставка!" (means Free shipping) sign disappeared from a cart dropdown menu when I am in a catalogue. The same sign still appears in the same menu when I am in the cart itself. Screenshots applied. And I still have a sign "Не выбрана" in the cart. As you can recall I translated "Free shipping" to "Не выбрана". So I have two questions. 1. Why the cart still thinks that free shipping is still turned on and tries to show text labels about it? 2. Where does the sign "Бесплатная доставка!" comes from if I translated all "Free shipping" string resources to "Не выбрана"? Thank you in advance!
