  1. Prestashop 1.6 Bootstrap. http://www.toocoolforcoffee.com/ I’m having a problem with the positioning of modules, categories and contact information in footer. I would like to position them all side by side, instead of how they currently sit, 3 on top and 1 underneath. I found a similar question on this forum(link below), but I’m not sure if the answer would solve the issues I’m having, I didn’t want to go through editing css files, footer-container etc, etc and to find it doesn’t work https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/514004-solved-enable-to-edit-footer-as-i-want-to-help/?do=findComment&comment=2279342 Can anyone give me some guidance, please! Thanks for your help.
  2. Hi Vekia, Thanks for the response to my post: Let me clarify the problem that I’m having with the scrolling top menu. When I scroll to the bottom of the page, the menu bar scrolls to the top of the page… This is the effect that I want, but when the menu bar is at the top of the page, it disappears behind the top banner, please see att pic top-menu. Please advise how to keep the top menu visible whilst its at the top of page. My second problem is with the mobile view, at the moment I’m only seeing the products, and nothing else, no logo image, and no menu, please see att pic mobile view. Please advise how to manage this issue. Thanks in advance.
  3. Prestashop 1.6 www.jamaicaskyblue.net Hi Guy's, This is a 2 part question, both related to the header. 1. After following the instructions found in this forum, I managed to create a fixed header, with scrolling feature. The problem I have now, is that once the header scrolls to the top of the page, the menu bar disappears behind the top banner, please advise how to fix this. 2. on the mobile site, I cannot see the header, or top menu bar, how to fix this issue. Thanks in advance for your help.
  4. @marcelva, I totally understand your frustration with prestashop, and trying to figure out issues all by yrself when they occur, I'm in a similar situation, but there are a few guys on this forum, that do chip in with solutions, also.... if you do a search on this forum, you might find a solution that someone has posted in a previous inquiry. Although this is an open source script, it is marketed in such a way, that you feel there is unlimited support, and a huge community of users willing to help out... if I had to do it again, i wouldn't use prestashop, and i wouldn't recommend it, unless the person who's running the shop, has some programming knowledge..... Prestashop, is definitely NOT for the beginner
  5. Prestashop 1.6 www.jamaicaskyblue.com I have an issue where some modules (mail alert/ my rewards account/ sponsorship programme), are not loading, I’m getting a browser message “The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.” This is happening with all browsers, not just with Firefox. I’ve figured out that the page loads when I remove the “/en” for the language from the URL, does anyone know how to solve this problem? http://www.jamaicaskyblue.com/en/module/allinone_rewards/rewards (NOT loading) http://www.jamaicaskyblue.com/module/allinone_rewards/rewards (Loading) Thanks in advance.
  6. I’ve got a puzzling problem with my site. 1.6.0.11 The following URL http://www.jamaicaskyblue.com/index.php is my sites homepage. That URL does not show any products, but when I access the site from the admin dashboard, at http://www.jamaicaskyblue.com/index.php?live_configurator_token=804a3662126d337bb40f20c2ba0855e0&id_employee=1&id_shop=1&theme=theme6&theme_font=font1 All products show as they should. Can someone advise how to fix this issue?
  7. I'm also locked out of the back office, the admin page does not load.... This is baffling, how easy is it to delete the ps_shop_url table, can this be done by uninstalling modules via ftp? Hacking activity? I'll be asking my hosting co to reinstall from the latest back up copy that they have, but I'm just wondering how often will I have to do this. Will Prestashop kill my startup dreams before they're realised :-(
  8. I did install a few new modules, but at that time the site was still functional, I've since uninstalled those modules, but there's no change in the status.
  9. thanks for stepping in. I've done as you instructed, but i still can't make sense of the errors now @ homepage.
  10. Running version 1.6 www.jamaicaskyblue.com About 7 hrs I started to experience the problem. I cannot logon to the site or the admin. I've contacted my host and they have suggested a site restore, which I'm reluctant to do, as i do not have an up to date back up. the following is a copy of the error log. [01-Mar-2015 14:16:43 UTC] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xiabaili/public_html/classes/shop/Shop.php on line 332 [01-Mar-2015 14:16:43 UTC] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xiabaili/public_html/classes/Language.php on line 713 Help would be highly appreciated at this moment.
  11. update: reinstalled my site, all's up and running ok. Also found out that the problem was with the contentbox module I installed, once deleted all was back to normal. once again, thanks for the valuable feedback!
  12. I contacted my hosting company, and they’ve also indicated that the code is some sort of malware. They’re not really sure how it got on to the server, but they have suggested reinstalling the script, and possibly getting an update. I’m now waiting for the reinstallment to be completed. Thanks for the valuable feedback, much appreciated.
  13. The files were auto installed via Softaculous server, which is a feature provided by my host Arvixe. I don't have access to the files, until they have been installed on the server, all i need to do is to select a directory, and all is done. I'm still waiting on their tech guys to get back to me, but in the case that I've got to reinstall from back up or a clean reinstall (not sure if the back up has the latest modification), how would I do this without loosing the work I've done so far? I have ftp access, which files would i need to copy to save my work? Again, thanks in advance.
