    Hello Everyone , I am new with prestashop . And want to learn prestashop theme development . I already google it. But don't find quick start or easy prestashop theme development tutorial . I read prestashop official documentation . But still don't understand how prestahsop theme work.. Very basic example., if i add a html in footer.tpl or header.tpl , But i don't see any output. So, its confuse me . I know here lot of knows , About theme development . Please give any reference video or blog , or any instructions. Thanks Advance. Hassan

    Hi, i followed all steps described in http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/2182[spam-filter]create-custom-and-new-hook-in-ps-15/ But still i have this error message "This module cannot be transplanted to this hook.". 1st i added "displayTop2" hook in database . and final step(4th step) add this function code [ function hookdisplayTop2($params) { return $this->hookhome($params, 'displayTop2'); } ] in to blogtags.php Actually,, i did all copy several times.. but still dont get solutions !

    Hi,, the_raven , i followed all this step . but still i have this error message "This module cannot be transplanted to this hook.". i am trying hook this in Tags block module. i added this function before :- function hookRightColumn($params) in blocktags.php function hookdisplayTop2($params) { return $this->hookhome($params, 'displayTop2'); } plz.. any idea , what i missed! Thanks

    Hi.. I am new in Prestashop.. now try to learn this CMS. Please, can anyone help me, if i dont want to dispaly my left colom modules only in home page, {But i want it to display other pages }then what should i do? exatly which file do i need to modify?? my prestashop version is :1.5.2 and theme is default . Thanks. Have a wonderful day.!

    I did second step. but then , from Dashboard preference->themes-> i can`t see new theme folder. there is only one .. which is my default themes.. Thanks

    Hi,, I want to install a theme into my local host. but i can´t. what i did ? well- 1st. i make a copy my default theme and rename to mytheme . make it zip , and then from admin panel .-> preference-> theme->import theme-> and then add my new zip file.. and next save- But this return me _ : Bad configuration file , error. Then i did a same thing for a Free theme. which i downloaded from google.. but i have same error ** Please , anyone have insigts? Thanks
