  2. HI I have read some of the articles in this forum about this problem, but so far have not found anything that works. When you view the Shopping cart, under the "shipping" section it says "FREE" I need to change that or eliminate that. What happens is the customer sees "FREE" and when they get to checkout...wala they think Bait and Switch happened because they are charged shipping. How can we either remove the word Free or not display shipping until it has a value > 0 Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks David
  3. HI. Setting up the Prestashop UPS Connect module there is a place to enter Container sizes. However I do not see any place in the product that you can choose one of the container size that was created in the UPS module. I do see under "shipping" in the product area that you can add shipping dimensions but they don't seem to make a difference in the UPS module. What I think I see happening is the UPS bases shipping based on the package size entered in their module. ie I enter a 12 in x 12 in x 12 in box with a weght of 1 lb in the UPS module, that appears to be what the shipping charge is based on... even if I have said the product shipping size is 24 x 24 x 24 and 20 lbs. Am I not setting something correctly in the product. or in the UPS module. if I have multiple containers defined in UPS how do I use that in the Product shipping dimensions? Any help and explanation of how the UPS module and Product dimensions should be set would be greatly appreciated. Thanks David M. Clark

  7. Thank Very much That portion of the menu was covered up by an Prestashop advertisement and a "view my shop" button. once I clicked on them I was able to see the UPS Shipping menu. Thanks for giving me a place to look. David

  10. HI. It says it is version 2.06 by UPS. title is "Connect to UPS" Problem I see is when it installs in the new 1.7..6.5 There is NO Configure button.. Just Disable Delete and Reset Shows information about it..but still no Configure button. It is an official module from the prestashop addon shop.. and
  11. Hello Background: We are moving from a working version of Prestashop 1.6.0.x to 1.7.6.5 We are doing this because the payment processor Braintree upgraded and wrecked our cart. We decided the best thing to do was to upgrade. It has been a nightmare! We paid for a migration package and it failed. We contacted them multiple times and got no answers that helped. So since the client only has a couple of items on their new shop...we decided to start from scratch..just use the supplied template. Things are going ok. BUT now another problem. We need to set up the UPS shipping module. We used "connect to UPS" module on the old system so we downloaded the same module for 1.7. BUT there does not seem to be any way to set up the module. It does no have a "configuration" button. So... Asking for help, How do we configure the "Connect to UPS" module? Thanks
  12. fortunately both sites are running... problem was created when Braintree made their change... we are simply trying to get the braintree updated to their new system. Seemed like the only way to do that was to update the entire prestasop version. Turns out...might have been better to simply have the client change payment systems. :-) Thanks David
  13. Thank you. We used Prestashop Migrator v 2.1.4 from ETS-Soft .... I have been in contact with the support of that product...but time delay is great. I did not see the error above before we informed him that we were having this problem. I hope they are able to repair this. We are getting very frustrated... :) If you know of something we need to do to fix it please feel free to send suggestions. Thanks David
  14. I am also getting the OutofMemboryException error whenever I work on any product. Any modifications or changes I make are saved in the product... Cart seems to work as far as we have gone. but still no images..
