Good day. I am about to delete my existing 1.6 site and do a fresh installation of 1.7. It is not a big site, So I will redo the products and other things. I do however want my customer base to move over, with usernames and passwords intact. I am assuming it will be a module for exporting from 1.6 and another module for importing to 1.7? Can anyone tell me if this is the correct way to go about it, and also which modules are recommended? Thank you Renier

Hi there. I need some advice please. Example: I have my 1.6 installation on delta.com. I have begun installing 1.7 on a separate domain, echo.com. So when the time comes, I will move the 1.7 installation to "replace" the 1.6 installation. Naturally everything I do on the new /temp 1.7 site, including all links and pages will be in the echo domain, like echo.com/policies and echo.com/printed shirt etc. Now my concern - when I move all of this to replace the delta.com domain, won't all these links be broken? The strange thing is that it works on a friend's pc on a different location. Does that mean there is an issue on my pc. Yet I still have my other shop on 1.6, and I can access that without issues from my pc.

I have 1.7.8 on php 7.4
