Hi Lance, It's probably not the ideal method in the long run but I did this and it worked for me. In the BO go to Shipping and set free shipping starts to start at a very highweight.... say 100kg. Then go to catalogue/products and edit the product you want to allow free shipping for by changing the package weight under the shipping tab to 101kg. Hope this helps.
