@Denim & @Selcuktasgin As a last try i contacted the person who made our theme who then gave me the more updated version of the theme and its now fixed. Because the error message was coming from a file which i thought had no real association with the theme i didnt think the theme was the problem. But turns out it was.. Hope this works for you guys!

Hello, Wondering if anyone can help me in the right direction.. Been testing a new them - Worked great. Gone to update my real website to this theme and the latest prestashop software - no problems doing that.. However now my home page is just blank white? So i did this debug thing which other poeple were talking about on the forum and i got this: Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Missing template name <-- thrown in /home/*****/public_html/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php on line 678 ***** - is my host name blured out. @ hurray i have no experience with Prestashop 1.3. The email only has advice for 1.4 +.. The paypal module update is only compartible with 1.4+ (So it says). So you might need to edit the code it's self. So i receievd the email and all you need to do is either update the module if you have a reminder to update the module if you don't have a reminder go to the addon.prestashop website search for the paypal module re-download it and then upload the newer version to your website. The newer verson is Paypal v3.8.1. This will simply update the one you allready have - so no need to retype in your api or whatever its called.. Hope this helps someone..

Been looking on the web because my boss got a email from paypal warning him about the recent issue and how paypal will not be supporting ssl v3 after the 3 Dec and that an email will be sent out to show you how to fix it.. No email yet.. but hey this got my boss all moody and mugins here has to find a solution.. Anyway i came across this: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest Which i typed our url in and it says my hosting package doesnt even support ssl v3 anyway? So do i still need to upgrade or am i all fine and ok to ignore it the warning messages? Many thanks, Gav

Hi, Recently had a order for 6 items. In the back office under orders all 6 items were there under one order but 5 of them had the same title as the first one. The pictures were different, the reference numbers were different but the titles were all the same. This was the same on the invoice, delivery note and paypal invoice.. We had to make up our own invoice for customer.. Was just wondering if this is an prestashop issue or just a one off glitch? Has anyone else had this problem and how did they fix it? This has been the only time this has happend to us so i am putting it down to a one off glitch.. Any help would be appreicated, Gav

Hi Vekia, I spoke to the company we brought the hosting from (UK2.NET) and they suggested i used the 'ADDON' feature which comes in our cpanel. Once i set that up i had to reset the dns and then clone my current prestashop into that folder. - Saved so much time and it seems to be working great.. Thanks anyway, Gav

Hello, Soo i currently have prestashop installed in a folder on my hosting url. I then have another url re-directing to the that folder. For example.. www.Myshop.co.uk goes to www.somthingcompletlydifferent.co.uk (where my prestashop shop actually is). Its been like that for about a year.. not the ideal solution because i cant share product links with out the actual hosting name being the url.. and it just doesnt look very proffessional. Now is the time for me to make my shop name the actual hosting name. But my question is if i change the hosting url will this mess up my prestashop? Because the files are all in www.somthingcompletlydifferent.co.uk/Prestashop changing it to www.myshop.co.uk/Prestashop would confuse it? I have looked into cloning it but.. its pretty hard.? Was just on my website looking for a link to tweet. And it seems in internet explorer 9 its all messed up. It was perfect last night. Looked correct and everything. Its only messy in internet explorer. I've checked firefox, crome and safari. Everything is on CCC as needed. I've cleared the cache. Ive deleted my history/ cookies. I was going to update the theme anyways into somthing fresh for 1.6 but was not planning on doing that for a couple of weeks. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks, Gav

Found the links under 'blockuserinfo' .. LOL this theme is all over the place compared to the default theme. Thanks paul for the firebug or else i would have never found it.

Stops the slideshow and normal navbar from working] Its not a big deal i'll just keep the links which are already there and put the links i want in the footer instead. Hello, Im trying to change the links at the top of the page. 'Permanent links' 'My wishlist | Checkout | Login | Register' being the links i want to change. Ive seen another topic saying they are in 'blockpermanentlinks' folder and edit 'blockpermanentlinks-header.tpl' Now i have the 'blockpermanentlinks' folder but no 'blockpermanentlinks-header.tpl file. blockpermanentlJust aJuJust a folder with 'translations'. Im using verson: 1.5.6.2 Should i be contacting the person who made the theme? Has he put it in a different folder? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gav

Could i just instal prestashop again but under a different directory?

Currently have one prestashop website on 1 hosting. Is there a way i can add a completely different prestashop website to the same webhosting? Does that make sense? So i have 1 downloaded prestashop. but want to make 2 seperate websites. Can i do this? Its probably really simple just need putting in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
