  1. yeah, i contacted him. thought i'd post again in here to see if anyone else was seeing this.
  2. I could really use some help. I'm running prestashop 1.5.5.0 with paypal usa/canada 1.3.1 using paypal payments advanced. The checkout accepts the credit card information, paypal processes it but i get no order created. if i run the transaction in IE i get a security warning which says: Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? The webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage. It then grays out the box where the order confirmation would be. It appears that this box is switching from https to http between the order and verification. If i click "no" on the popup error mentioned above everything works fine, but i can't ask customers to do that. Do you have any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it? I'm desperate! Thank you. cory
  3. I am having a similar problem with paypal advanced. The order gets to paypal and the credit card is charged, but the verification screen is not displayed on return, and no order is created in prestashop. When i press ctrl+shift+j i see the following error displayed: [blocked] The page at 'https://twistedtoatee.com/order?multi-shipping=' was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from 'http://twistedtoatee.com/module/paypalusa/validation': this content should also be loaded over HTTPS. This was working and just stopped recently. I had not made changes to the site (that I am aware of). How do I fix this? I tried upgrading to paypal usa canada 1.2.7 but am getting the same results. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. i didn't have anything for those. just the ones i said earlier. Good luck!
  5. well, that didn't show up very well did it... under payment confirmation section make sure that - Show confirmation page is set to On a PayPal hosted page and Return URL Method: is set to post
  6. I had this problem. In paypal manager make under hosted pages make sure you see this: Payment Confirmation Header and footer text do not apply to Layout C. Show confirmation page On a PayPal hosted page Sample On my website Tips Enter your header text: (optional) Enter your footer text: (optional) Enter text for Return URL: Enter Return URL: Return URL Method: Link Post Choose Link if you are not sure. If it is already set, reselect the options and resave.
  7. You're not going to believe this... I was using a "$" in the password for my paypal manager account, and that was what prevented it from connecting to paypal... I remembered that I couldn't use a "$" in my prestashop admin password and just tried removing it from the manager password because nothing else was working and it let me click some buttons while I thought about what really needed done, and boom! everything worked. Thanks to all for the help, I guess we can add do you have a "$" in your manager password to the list of things to check...
  8. @Brian - I appreciate the help, but it still isn't working for me.
  9. @Brian - how did you disable PayPal standard? I keep clearing the fields in the api box, and it keeps repopulating the name and api name, even after an uninstall and reinstall.
  10. Benjamin, please see http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-10379 Brian, I have a manager userid. This was previously working. Am I understanding you correctly, do I need to delete all the info in the api portion of the PayPal config?
  11. I've reported this twice to the prestashop addons team. Not sure what their usual turnaround time is, but i've heard nothing. I could understand if I was trying to do something really weird with the module, but all I want to do is accept credit cards through paypal. It worked for me until sometime early September. There are also other people who have been posting on this problem looking for answers. Somebody must have an answer for this... also opened an issue at forge.prestashop.com: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-10379
  12. my account is verified, and i'm having the same problem. when i try to configure paypal advanced (which is what i have) i get: Your PayPal Manager Configuration crendentials are not valid, please double-check their values or contact PayPal. If i configure with payflow and the same account info, it is successful. either way when i get to checkout it tells me there are no payment modules installed.
  13. i get the same thing when trying to configure paypal advanced. Interestingly though, if I switch to payflow it accepts the credentials. Still tells me i don't have a payment module installed at checkout, but it does accept the credentials.
  14. Stevie, I am seeing this as well. The odd thing is if I switch my paypal in the model from advanced to payflow - the login works. very odd if you ask me.
