ElasticSearch Is used more and more in webcommerce sites to speed up search. Prestashop owners can install a module to take advantage of ElasticSearch. Both the commercial ElasticSearch Connector and the free Brad module connect to the ElasticSearch server. The modules can use an ElasticSearch instance installed on a local server, another server or it can use a hosted ElasticSearch service. Many merchants are not allowed or don't want to install ElasticSearch either because of web host regulations or simply because they don't want risk a technical problem. Then remain only the hosted solution. Frankly most of these are very expensive to use, mostly because they are not meant for a webshop, they target users with millions of products ar documents. Facebokk search is built on ElasticSearch f.ex. To fill this holw we have created a dedicated ElasticSearch product targeting the e-commerce market, most different platforms has an ElasticSearch module. Hi! I try to import a category tree including id. I use an xml feed from a supplier and need to have the same category id as in the feed to import the products into the correct category. But the csv import dont bother about the id, after import the categories has numbers from 3 and up. Can this be fixed somehow Anders

This show up in the log when you place a new order and pay. The order is not created in the system, just an abandoned cart For the customer it seems normal What can be wrong? Edit. There is a country id for the customers in the database table

Well it say on the email preferences page, use PhpMailer(work most of the time) or use your own SMTP settings So I dont know what is use then

We have a shop created with 1.6.1.6. It uses PhpMailer and it worked perfectly. When we decided to move the shop from shared hosting to a VPS I decided to update it to the latest version using i-click update module. The new version 1.6.1.9 However the update did not work, the error message was something about the Adapter folder so I rolled it back. At the same time, the shop stopped sending out emails, Error, please check your config. I moved the shop to the VPS but the error is still there, and I suspect something happened during update and roll back. As a notice, the other shop on the VPS works without a problem. Anyone knows what may have happened?

CAn sound strange but when I configured the mailsettings to SMTP and saved. the shop got unreachable. Where can I find the settings and settings for using sendmail

I did exactly like above and get this error Internal Server ErrorThe server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error. Anders

It was the hosting provider that said I should do it with htaccess, So it must be allowed. And they seem to mean that it should be done like that.

Something must be very wrong in this latest update of Prestashop 1.6. I have a fresh install and I cant create new categories under Home. They all come in the same level as Home even if I choose Home as parent. And the new feature creating root work, but it doed not show up as a choice as parent Edit. If you dont create a new root category everything works as normal.
