  1. Just be aware that in PHP 5.2.38 there is no such option "max_input_vars" to change, at least do a search and look into the resource limits category... any idea? Try to add it on, no change at all, I am hosting my own server and have full access to it, and I am running on Windows Server 2012 R2 version newest. with IIS 8.0
  2. I don't think it will work with version 1.5.2? Because this phrase "Pay with your card or your PayPal account" is not in the translation module. Please advice. Thanks.
  3. PayPal checkout went smoothly when no voucher is used, when customer use voucher for free shipping, the PayPal return with following error. Error reporting from your PayPalAPI module A client has encountered a problem with the module PayPalAPI, see the report: PayPal response: TIMESTAMP -> 2012-11-08T23:37:15Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10426 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Invalid Data L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Item total is invalid. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error
  4. A word "please" would be nice, and besides, you can also modify this post as well since your staff never answer all of my concerns during the past two years..., suprise now you even ask for mt o insert "GUIDE" onto the post, of course, your "suggestion" has been granted... fyi... Thanks.
  5. I have been using and installing the PrestaShop for awhile now, and everytime when I encounter problems and solved the problem, I take notes and save in Microsoft Word document. Now I think since PrestaShop manual lacks of setup instructions on the Windows Server 2008 platform, so I decide to share some of my notes to everyone who is in needs of using their own Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5 to host their site. PrestaShop Installation ONLY Guide.pdf Password is psv#14825
  6. According to my PrestaShop Bible (my Troubleshooting Guide), it is the database structure error, please follow the steps below, make sure oyu have phpMyAdmin installed before continue. Solving Order creation failed error message You must have phpMyAdmin install under PrestaShop and access it through a web browser. Select the database that is belonging to the shop that displays such error. Find ps_orders on your left-hand panel and click once. Select Structure link on the top of the right-hand panel. And find #9 reference and click the link Change. Check the selection Null and click Save. That should do the trick!

  8. In my opinion the PrestaShop staff really need to have a dedicated Windows-based server machine to test their newly developed PrestaShop, many errors within PS while using Windows IIS 7.5 to host them are popping up like flies. Very unstable... Thanks for your feedback, instead of keep making a new version of the shop, they should really focus on the support and maintain of the previous version more, business is vital to most of the shop owner, can't afford to be down or having problems.
  9. Thank you, I have also find out someone posted this in the bug report, and of course, the staff reply it today shortly after. http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-4915
  10. Entire site works fine in a previous server that I have, now I have move my PrestaShop 1.4.8.2 site onto a new machine with exact same configuration. However when I do image upload in one of the product at the back office, it says "Update successful" afterwards, but nothing show up, no iamge, and no error, I also turn the error reporting from the config.inc.php file as well, but, again, no errors. I have checked the PrestaShop folder, parent directory, sub folder and give full permission, still no luck. I also, just to be safe, create a dummy product and cagetory, the dummy product and cagetory can be created without problem, just no image upload. ANyone have any ideas? Thanks. 11. My PrestaShop installation stopped at 88% with error Install theme 1. [object] [object], I gave full permission on all the folders and the parent directory, still no luck. First try of the version 1.5, fail, another unstable version? Advice? Thanks.

  13. For default category ID number 4 where there are three Apple MacBook laptops, somehow there is an external module operate inside this category picture section (I think), no matter what I do I cannot change the picture within this category. Plus, there is a plus (+) symbol in the center of this image of all three MacBooks, and it randomly display one of the product when mouse rollover. I am using the default PrestaShop 1.4.8 theme, no modification been made yet with the core, everything original code, so... Does anyone know about this mystery? Solution: It's called Image mapping feature under Catalog tab.
