  1. I wonder if our issue could be related to a missing confirmation page hook. The other issue is that the Paypal module instructions ion the backoffice are TERRIBLE (non-existent). I have seen conflicting posts that the "PayPal Business Account:" is supposed to be an account number and other saying it should be the account email.
  2. We are still having issues with Paypal. Some orders are converting and others are not. We are unsure if this is an IPN setting in Paypal or a problem with the module. We have tried .../module/paypalusa/validation?pps=1 and .../modules/paypalusa/validation.php
  3. Bumping this. Any help. I think we are missing a hook or something else simple.
  4. With this issue Prestashop has not been designed for flexibility. We have many customers that want to change a size or color. Making such a simple update is very difficult with Presta.
  5. Except that Presta Shop seems to have a feature that prevents an order from being editable once it has gone into a paid order state. Kind of a stupid rule that should really be left up to the eCommerce store.
  6. We use Authorize net, Paypal USA and Payment by Check. Upon order completion registered customers are taken directly to their Order History page. Only payment by check is showing a confirmation page letting the customer know the order was confirmed. Is this the expected behavior? I thought this might have to do with a missing hook as we have nothing listed under the (Technical nameactionPaymentConfirmation) or (Technical nameactionPaymentCCAdd). Maybe I need to add it to the hook display Payment Return? I tried to transplant the Paypal and Authorize net Modules under the Payment Confirmation hook as well as the Payment Return hook and got an error message that "This module cannot be transplanted to this hook."
  7. This is still not working. Nothing we do will allow us to edit items on an order. Prestashop is really coming up short on some very basic functions. Why is this not possible??? I don't understand why such simple features are missing or not working.
  8. We are using PrestaShop™ 1.5.6.1 and this is still an issue. When we try to edit an address for a guest we get the message "Email address is not registered"... FRUSTRATING
  9. That was all in my original post. PrestaShop version 1.5.6.1 PayPal Payments Standard. Paypal Module 1.3
  10. We are using PrestaShop version 1.5.6.1 and are having issues with PayPal Payments Standard. We just installed the newest version of the Paypal Module, 1.3 (http://addons.prestashop.com/en/payments-gateways-prestashop-modules/8277-paypalusa.html). Here is what is happening. 1. Customer selects Paypal on checkout. 2. Customer is taken to payment page. 3. Upon payment customer is redirected to their order history page on our site. 4. The order is not converted (pending cart) 5. The customer is charged by Paypal No emails are sent. From reading other posts it looks like setting the IPN URL is not required as this should be taken care of by the module. From what I can see from posts by Presta Moderators they are trying to help, but blaming issues on the number of different modules and other conditions. Having used many different shopping cart platforms I can say that we have NEVER had these kind of issues. A solid checkout is critical. The fact that Paypal does not work for so many uses is a huge issue. The checkout itself leaves much to be desired. Many ways to streamline it and help ensure a good experience and no conversion loss due to poor design. The one-page checkout options available are even worse. Many errors. Any ideas?
