  1. Hi, I'm working on this. It is only basic but will be something for a .csv import. Once it is finished and I'm happy with it I'll release it. Kind regards, Dan
  2. Magento is great, I'm also looking at moving to that. The only problem is that it is quite slow, however, with a bit of streamlining and disabling of other functions you should be able to get it working within no time at a decent speed. Spree is also really good - it is written on Ruby on Rails, and as such is incredibly quick, stable, and actually coded well. When you compare ANY other shopping software to Prestashop, you really see how badly prestashop is coded and no wonder they have all these problems. Whilst Spree is maybe not quite as feature rich as Prestashop at the moment, the fact that you have full customization of everything and that also if anything goes wrong it is far harder to bring the site down, is just a huge bonus...one thing I have learnt is that Prestashop is essentially living on borrowed time. It is terribly coded, has thousands of bugs that are never fixed, incredibly unstable, and becoming more hated by the minute. Yes it is free, but it is only an advert for the expression, 'Penny wise, pound foolish'.
  3. Hi Buster155, You won't get a solution Prestashop are incompetent at solving problems...look at 1.6 and how that is going. This issue regarding paypal and no orders is so reported I'm surprised it hasn't received a special forum...the only thing I can suggest is moving store like we are...we're going to either spree or Magento...their payment modules work...amazingly. Kind regards, Dan
  4. Hi, I definitely agree with the user messages. They get rid of that but provide a map for where the customer lives? Why? I also agree the products, shipping type, shipping address should all be at the top...everything else should be below. Just my 2cents. I'll wait for 2-4 months after the official gold release before I upgrade so hopefully other improvements will be made. There are a load of improvements and most of the FO things people do not like can basically be changed by redesigning the theme. Cheers, Dan
  5. Hi, Is there a way to add a drop down menu of accessories so the customer can customize what they want at the top of the page rather than scrolling down and adding accessories? So like what they have on ebay. I was wondering as I would like to do this but set it up so the accessory product quantity is linked to that accessory rather than as an attribute. Any ideas? Kind regards, Dan
  6. Hi, I've solved the problem! I have a version of 3.4.8 paypal module and thought I would try that. I uninstalled the 3.6.5 version and uploaded the 3.4.8 version installed it etc and filled out my details. Then i go to Modules>paypal>views>templates>hook>integral_evolution_payment.tpl Then find this:
  7. Hi, I have an error when customers from outside of the UK try and checkout: When they click to pay via paypal they get this error: I have set up a test account at www.joovuu.com [email protected] testing1 I have no idea how to solve this problem and all the solutions are from 2011 and now not applicable. Any help? I am using the latest PayPal module - 3.6.5 and Prestashop.1.5.6.1 Any help is greatly appreciated! Kind regards, Dan
  8. Hi, I would like to have my VAT and company number on all pdf invoices that the customer can download...how would I go about doing that? Cheers, Dan
  9. I seemed to have solved the problem by getting rid of the www. So people access the site at joovuu.com and not www.joovuu.com. It seems to be working for me.
  10. Hi, I'm having this problem as well. I recently changed my domain that customers access my shop from joovuu.com to https://www.joovuu.com. Could this be the problem and if so how do I go about telling customers to solve it? Just delete all the old cookies and access it from https://www.joovuu.com and it should work fine? Cheers, Dan
  11. Thank you, I got this error: I can't find anything on google for it?
