  1. Hi El Patron, thanks for your reply. I knew about that option, but the thing is that it is promotional, so not something that should be enabled in all productos. The reason behind it being category based is because we have a lot of different models, so changing it product by products would take a lot of time and effort. There must be some other way to automate this process.
  2. I have a cart rule that gives free shipping to all orders containing products from a certain category (We sell instant cameras, so if you buy a camera, you get free shipping, if you only buy film or some other accesories, there's no free shipping). The problem is that we want the cheapest carrier to be free, not all of them, and since prestashop does not seem to be able to get this configured, I was guessing if someone know of a way (override preferably) we could get this done.
  3. Cannot find this route at all: themes/default/template/controllers/products I know the default theme now is default-bootstrap, but I cannot find any template, or controllers anywhere... So I cannot use those files to replicate. I don't know if it's pretty obvious what I'm missing, but I cannot find anything!
  4. This is not working in 1.6.1.0 Any idea why? Some of the files could not be located, so I guess that the core changes they included in this release made this fix unavailable... It would be great though to get this back!!
  5. Hello, I want to put emoji symbols in the short description of some of my products. If I put the HTML code in the field, it displays nicely, but when I save the product, everything is saved until the emoji character. After the place it should be, the text is finished. If I put the code straight away in the database, it shows ok in the webpage, but if I have to enter back to the product page it saves it again without the text and the symbol. What part of the code would I need to change to make the admin panel to store the emoji in the database correctly?
  6. Been checking this again. The HTML tag in which the customisation fields should appear it shown with a "display:none" inline attribute <iframe id="customization_list" seamless="" style="display: none;"> so my guess is that the AJAX is not working properly. The thing is that with products with less combinations, this seems to work, I don't know where the limit is, but with the products I have with combinations it seems to not display. Regarding las clong answer, yes, I tried without non-native modules and with the default-bootstrap theme activated: nothing changed
  7. I've been browsing topics about this for some time now, but I can's find a solution for my problem. I need to attach a PDF with the Terms and Conditions to the order confirmation email, so everybody that makes a purchase has accepted them before doing the purchase, and they have a copy for themselves. I don't know which file I have to modify to get this done. Can anyone help me? Thanks
  8. I have not changed the code, and yes, I have some unofficial modules that have been working since 1.6.0. I've been pretty busy fixing this 1.6.0.12 problems, so as soon as I have the backup in place I will try to disable all non-official modules
  9. Well, I have not tried to remove the text from being mandatory, as it is mandatory (that's why we configured it that way on the first place). I just want it to work as supposed, as It has been working since the first time I used Prestashop back in 1.5 until now. I suppose the problem has to do with Ajax not loading the customization fields when a product with those fields is selected. But I do not know how to dig any further in the backend
  10. I was using 1.6.0.9 until recently, when I updated to 1.6.0.11, and now to 1.6.0.12, but this did not fix my problem. Sometimes we do manual orders, and send the link to our customers for them to finish the payment. This is because the product in question has various configuration options, and sometimes we do it via telephone. The problem is that since this upgrade, we cannot see the text customization field, which is mandatory, so we cannot add the item to the cart, as it says that a mandatory field is not filled, but we cannot see it. Anybody knows how to fix this?
  11. Any solution for this? The same happens in my installation, changing image size or compression does not change anything. I upgraded to 16.0.11 and it's still the same
  12. Removing combinations would defeat the purpose... I prefer having a cent difference shown only in that page than to loose the combinations functionality altogether, thanks. The problem is in the way Prestashop themes product pages calculate the prices based on the different options, that's a mess....
