Hi, Please, Lets not make this a question about allowing guest checkout without registering or not. By reasons, I want to allow my customers to buy without they feel they must register. However, When a non registered customer get back again to make a new buy, that customer can not use the same e-mail address, because system says there already is an account registered with that email address. So, my customer​ think they have been fooled by us, registering their information without their knowledge/will. Is there a way allowing an email address being used several times for guest checkout? ​ Thanks Anders

Hello, PS 1.6.0.9 My customer bought a red T-shirt size M. 5 minutes after she called and wanted to change to a blue size L, and since that combination too is in stock, no problem to accept. How do I change the order? It is same product ID, same price, just different combination, so the only logical way is to change in order details and let a new mail with updated information to be sent to the customer. On this order is also 12 other things, so it is not very easy just to make a new order. Preferable I would also like to add and remove order rows (not on this specific order, but as a possibility for future orders) Plz help... and if not possible within PS, maybe someone know about a module? Hi, I have been searching this forum and the web several times and I think I´ve tested all solutions mentioned. Only thing I haven´t been able to find is an "empty character" or "empty space", but I have been searching for it. When "OK" the Techncial Error -popup, no quantity change in front, but if refreshing the page, the quantity update show up. If I click the +-button (add one) then OK the popup-window, click the +-button again and click OK the popup-window again etc many times, then, when I finally refresh the page manually, ALL the clicks is presented in the quantity box in one refresh. I get: TECHNICAL ERROS:unable to save update quantity Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: pareserror Latest version of PS, tried with and without Ajax (normally disabled). Appreciate a lot if there is an answer to this. Tnx

Me too have a category tree problem. My is in catalog/category/any_category_name/edit. Buttons collapse all and expand all are there, but no category tree. Multishop enabled, and same result in all shops. Category tree is working in catalog/Products/associations. Tnx for all help! /anders

I have the same problem in category view in PS 1.5.6. Only one product is showing price 0, all other Products are as they should be. On Product page and in cart price is showing right.

Hi again Is there a reason *not* to delete all the copies of a Product in the db directly, Products that belongs to shops where the Product is never going to be sold in? Now I had an issue where Product name is changed in the original shop (only), but in stock managment PS is presenting the NAME from one of the other shops (dont know which, since all the other shops still have the old name), so it was impossible to recongnize the Product. After deleting all Product rows in Product_lang of this ID_Product (from shops_ID´s where it is not supposed to belong), stock management present the only available NAME, which is the same as in the shop the Product originally is created in. Question was: Is there and disadvantage or risk deleting all the "unnecassary" Product rows? Tnx again for advice! Anders

Hi, I have a big problem with how PS handle new Products. Even if I am in a specific shop, PS will duplicate the Product to all shops, disregarding if it is in the same shop Group or not. I find this being a mistake. But what is worse, when editing the Product, it only get edited in the Active shop you choosed in the "Multistore configuration" - box. So, as example, if you decide to give a new name to the Product, You will sometimes see the old name, because sometimes BO will get data from wrong shop ID (Product ID is the same all the time). Very confusing and annoying. With 6 shops and 3 languages activated, Each new Product will create 18 new instances in the db. Next thing, also bad, is stock managment. I didnt put this post Before, because I knew Stock mangagment was under big update in 1.6, but now I tried stock managment in 1.6 too. I added 15 pcs of one Product with a value of 1$ each. Guess what my stock is Worth? Yes, you are right, according to PS I have 90 pcs to a total value of 90$ (my guess is that PS Count 15 pcs / shop). All shops share the same warehouse and some Products (not many) are sold in more than one shop. Please advise me. Do I have any settings wrong? Tnx Anders

I checked the database, and what I can see, the invoice number is saved as a number only, and I can´t find where the given prefix (orders/invoices/order_prefix) and the hashtag is added. The hashtag is not a way to replace the word or the meaning of the word "number" in Scandinavian languages! One thing more, annoying, is the unchangeable order number system. I would be very pleased if it was possible to decide how the order number system should look (random or number order). Same here, a random letter system looks only strange. I belive it is very important that the customer recognizes both how you express yourself and what terms you use. While in complaint mode... Why not separate invoice series for different shops in multishop system? If not same VAT number for the different shops, then the invoice system is a big problem. According to Swedish tax law, all invoices must be presented in a number order - without gaps. All replies and suggestions are more than welcome! /anders

Hello, I am running a multistore (1.5.6) and before writing this, I have approached BO only using "default shop"-admin address. Like "www.defaultshop.com/administration". Suddenly, a module created by software developers for me, doesn´t show up as a tab under "catalog/products" any longer. Of course I complain about this to my developer, and he says it is visible at his side. After clearing cache, removing web history, uninstalling and installing the module many times, we find out that my developer is approacing BO by going to the address belonging to the shop where the module must be active. So instead of "www.defaultshop.com/administration" he uses "www.actualshop.com/administration". "Actualshop" is a shop in another group than "defaultshop" in the Multistore system. One magic thing is that the module is installed in "defaultshop" mode. Not "actualshop". Before this I didnt know you could use different addresses to approach admin, I thought the whole idea with a multistore system was that you could administrate the system from one address, but obviously, now is proven, there is some differences depending what address you use. My question is: Should I always use admin address depending on what shop I want to administrate, or "should" it not matter? Can anyone explain differences? Thanks Anders

Yes, you are right. I think that ajax must be enabled to get that working, but I have a module that needajax to be disabled. That is why I asked bout a non-ajax version of cart. Tnx

Hello, We are starting a Multishop system and need some specific modules that doesn´t exist (what we know about). Also we need someone that can create themes from our design (we make the design in Photoshop or as PDF´s). We want a long term relationship with someone that can help us regulary with service and updates on the server. We dont want to look for new persons each time, and most of all, we dont want lot of people working on our server. Most preferable is a singel person with very good skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML5 etc. The hourly cost should be in the range that we dont mind to use your service just for testing different solutions. We need to get started now, so please don´t hesitate to respond asap!
