    Goto your dashboard then Internatiional/Localization then click the languages tab and edit your language

    The only way i know of is to edit the database. Not sure if there is another way without editing the db BUT make sure you back up the database BEFORE you make any edits to it

    As JBW said above goto admin/backend of the store Goto Configure then click on Shop Parameters This will open more options, click on General At the top you should see two tabs Gerneral and Maintenance, click on Maintenance tab Change Enable store to NO Then you can add a message in the Custom maintenance text box And sorry about your friend

    Easier to goto Catalog/Attributes and Features and edit the Dimension attribute and change the Attribute Type from Drop-down List to Radio Buttons
