Hello, At least for my the real problem was somewhere else in the theme I bought. Still, the 456 combinations, seemed to influence the loading time, and in bo after I click the combine button, almost every time i was getting the internal server error message... so, i stayed on 228 combinations... I don`t know if this is a solution, but it is my experience....

Hello, It seemed that the problem for the slowdown was that: In my theme ( not the default one), i had an option, in top menu to randomly show an image from my models. And when i had 600 models, my sites was taking almost 26 seconds, just to think... When I was taking off this option, suddenly my site is loading in 5 to 7 seconds... Thank you all!

Well, now, it takes 24 secs to upload. 17 just to index.php... meanwhile, i uploadet 300 new products, and for some 50 created combinations, prices... But, how could this be related by the fact that index is not loading?

I don't understand what you want to say.. First of all, I presumed that once you posted in romanian, on the romanian forum, we wil not talk in english... I also see that the romanian forum is not very active, but did you really meant to say that it is because i "made a post that bad for the community", are you sure you speak english - as you say? Because i only said that for your peace you should verify the translations (and as i said, i speak from my personal exeprience). I am really confused about your post... Well, good luck to you too...

And now everything is ok. I don't know why, how, but it worked...

Seems it have something to do with Use this attribute in URL generated by the layered navigation module. Before i begin to have these problems i deactivated this option. When i tryied to reactivate...the haos begun. I did all that in firefox with the attribute at witch now i can not acces anymore . . from firefox. I repeated the operations, but from ie, with another attribute... and surprize: now i donțt have acces to that attribute...but only from ie... Is it allright? Or I am wrong...

Hello, I think I am going crazy... I need to change something in an attribute, on public name. After editing the public name of the attribute, click save, it says update succesfull, but nothing has changed... Of course, I deleted cookies, cache memory, from firefox and from regcurepro, restarted windows...but everything is the same. More, in firefox, and only in firefox, if i try to edit the attribute, I am asked for the password ( of the super admin), enter it, and again, without gaining acces to the attribute editing, just asking for the password... Everything begun when i wonted to add a new attribute, and after saving, there was nothing... To be more interesting, seems that sometimes ( and i can't see any logic) on front page it shows the changes i did. It is like I live in a parallel reality...who knows...

You said to remove the .htacces file. You meant to deleted it? I thougt i should enter a code or something... I don't know how to create a phpini file... If i disable the friendly url, i would not have problems with optimization? Thank you.

The server provider says it is a programmind issue. But I can't find a thing. It takes almost 10 seconds on index.php file...on every pany of my site: prodcut page, compare, even on simple pages like FAQ.... I can't understand...

I resolved the problem with magicquote, but still no difference. The erver provider think that the solution is to upgrade from 1.5.4 to 1.5.4.1, but i think that has no matter in that problem.
