hi all, trying to import some products/catalogues to my back office (files are from my dropshipper). i go to advanced parameters > import csv i have 'uploaded' 2 files, one is xls. the other is csv, my first problem is i dont know how to remove these 2 files from the little upload box at the top as i want to do them 1 at a time, anyone know how? my second problem is that neither of them would import, came up with lots of errors. i have looked and looked but cannot find a tutorial or guide that explains the basics of importing product catalogues, i looked at the sample files but dont really understand what they are showing. do the spreadsheets columns have to have specific columns and names etc...?? any help much appreciated thanks

hi sorry to bother you again but, now i cant connect using filezilla, saying password is incorrect but i know that it is the right password? maybe this is one for the filezilla forums? but seen as how it happened after i installed presta to the correct domain i thought the 2 could be connected? thanks

you know what, i think you have done enough for me i will just input my categories and products again as i hadnt actually got that far before so should only take an hour or 2. thank you for your help and hopefully see you around

yessss i am now into the back office for the right domain thank you so much! very much appreciated. is there any way to bring my catagories over from the other one?

when i click view my shop in the back office it takes me to directory1 not the root

ah ok i have installed prestashop to my root folder, i think, so now i can see the default template at the correct domain. the question now is, how do i get to the back office to edit it?

i think maybe directory1 without realising it. i used filezilla if that helps?

hi all, i have just realised that i cannot view my shop at its proper domain www.everythingdog.co.uk i have to go to www.everythingdog.co.uk/directory1/ ... i have looked through previous posts but havnt been able to solve it. if i go to back office > preferences > SEO and URLS > set shop URL the first 2 boxes read ok but the base url reads /directory1/ if i change it i just get blank page. any help appreciated
