Hi vekia, i have re installed again from my backup and the shop is fine i am going to make a copy of the site and upload it to a subdomain ready for testing just in case anything happens. i will get back to you when i have done this many thanks again vekia. Gaz

Hi Vekia thanks for your reply its much appreciated and i will look into that however i hit a major problem yesterday and i wonder if you can help me with it. I turned on friendly URL's and my site crashed with a 500 so i deleted ht access and turned friendly URL's off and it successfully regenerated ht access however my site was still down. I restored the site from a backup on the server and tried turning URL's on again, this time it worked but there were so many dead links and infinite loops i decided to revert it again but it was still temperamental. i did a fresh restore today but after turning force compilation off it has killed my site again (blank page and no errors on browser console) any ideas on how this can be related and what i should do. I am worried as the backup was made just before i turned URL's on yesterday and everything was working fine. Thanks in advance. Gaz

Hi all, i am having an issue with product thumbnails not appearing in the back office catalog/products list Here is my browsers error log And a copy of one of the image url's I am using ver 1.5.4.1 I am also having issues with block share where it isnt posting image/title/description to a facebook post. Hi all. I am looking for a way to add a stock item from a different category to a product from within a product page and have it updating the price before adding to the cart. let me try and explain. i am looking at bike product page and i want a drop down list where i have the option to add from a selection of different upgraded seats in different colours (already for sale on the shop in a different category) upon adding one the price gets updated and i can add to the cart. this would deduct both items from stock and display as two items in the checkout. Thanks pascal, there will be around 200 products on the site which will require this, the products will be very likely to stay put so I would agree initial high maintenance, it is essential my customers do not buy incompatible products, I will search deeper but may just be a case of uploading a data sheet and urging customers to check themselves, thanks again Gaz

Hi pascal, yeah that's exactly it, lets say for instance a customer bought a 10mm nut and then added a 12mm bolt it would flag up suggesting the products are incompatible when adding to the cart and also in the cart, sorry by shop front I meant on the product page when adding to the cart, thanks Gaz

Hi everybody, 1st newbie post here Does anybody have any experience with integrating a forum into your store, i understand there are a few options and i am looking for the best one in terms of appearance, mods, auto login etc etc, my first thoughts are simple machines integration as i know its a good platform or presta forum gp but cant find many reviews on that one, thanks for your help in advance gaz
