I haven't reached this part of the cart to customise yet - or tried anything with a test customer -- and as I've not used PS before, is an order able to be changed (eg to change shipping cost, or even remove shipping cost) before an invoice is sent -- like an amended invoice ?? sorry if I should know this

I'd love to know how to show the products in a horizontal rows instead of vertical - thanks

Just found that it's the border I place on the content_block areas that is causing the drop by testing and removing the border I created. However, I like the border as it is now on the page. Found the css that needs editing if anyone has the same issue: In the homefeatured css file I subtracted the width of the borders from the width of the featured block as can you can see below... #featured-products_block_center li { margin-right:10px; padding:10px 0; width:124px; /* was width:126px; but changed to compensate for the addition of borders elsewhere */ height:240px;

The home page featured product block is only showing 3 items horizontally, where I believe it should be 4 by default. I did add a css class so I have a grey border on most content blocks, but removed it from the featured block area thinking it was causing that 4th image to drop a row... didn't help. Border now gone but still shows only 3 featured pictures across. so now thinking it could be a padding issue (usually effects IE - but I'm using Firefox), but can't find where to try and get the 4th image to pop back up to the top row.... Picture attached Vers: latest 1.5.3 with default template.

I do it exactly as kafcom, you just to remember to do go back to the top menu module to add any new categories or links you want to show on the top menu.

I'm only new to prestashop, but I have a similar situation with my candles, so many items fit into a small box, more into a medium etc., So I have set up different shipping methods according to weight (not price) - as I know what weight each box will take. So I have carriers set for up to 0 - 500grm, 500gr - 3kg and then for 3-15kg... so for my method, I need to add a weight for each product and once an order reaches a certain weight, then that carrier/shipping method kicks in. So far this works and shows correctly in the cart on simple testing as I'm not that advanced into setting up the total shop as yet Would this method work for you?

Yep, had to 'reset' the categories block to bring back the + showing the subcategories - but this then repositioned the block to where I wanted it.. so then had to use the Position> Live Edit to reposition the categories block to the top of the column as my preference... bit of a PITA really having to go through these steps every time I decide to add another category with sub-categories

As subject lines says - everytime I add a new category or a sub category, I always end up losing the + sign on the root category link in the Categories block in the left column. Even after clearing cache (both shop & browser), the new additions show up, but still won't bring back the + icon.... do I have to 'reset' the categories block everytime I add a new item ?? Haven't reset as yet as I don't want to lose all my work to date ???

If I already have the default set up with root categories and sub-cats under the 'home' button on top nav bar, can I change the Home button to another name like 'products' and still keep the category tree under that new name? I would then like to add another item on the top name bar and call it home (with no categories) or will it clash with the original 'home' --- hope that makes sense

Took me ages to work this one out myself Remove the Stores block as you already did, but the text link in the left column is found in the CMS Block - see the pic attached. 2 steps to get to it:

I was having other serious issues the BO showing blank pages so I rolled back to a saved version of my store (from my cpanel) and now managed to remove the link. I've tried everything I could find help on with trying to remove the Our Stores Link in the left cms block. I've check all the relevant areas as discussed here and disabled them all - and there is no checkbox with Our stores anywhere. Help please - I've tried everything I've read and nothing works to remove the OUR STORES link - don't want it, don't need it !

Love it ! esp. like the header you've created I did try and put an item into the cart, but the 'add to cart' feature isn't enabled... is that right?

I've set up 1 Flat rate Carrier for weight up to 15kilos. I'd like to set up a 2nd carrier option if the weight of the items is 15 kilos. Will the 2nd carrier (again flat rate) for the next 15 kilos be added ON TOP of the first rate ?? Or is there a better way of handling this method of shipping - any advice appreciated. ----------------------------------- Update: Solved - I created a new carrier with the weight between 16-30kg with a different price. I also disabled the 1st carrier if the weight was over 15kilos... tested by added enough items to add up to more than 15kgs and the 2nd carrier showed up in the cart -- just the way I wanted it to.... Just posting this up if anyone else is wondering how to do this Sorry if this is known to many, but confusing to us newbies

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question correctly but if you've already moved it, why can't you go to the BO and create a sub-menu under the Computer (top) category ? or am I completely misunderstanding what you want to do
