  1. Hi all, I have Prestashop 1.5.1.0 and Mail Alerts v2.4 installed. I have enabled the Customer Notifications - Gives the customer the option of receiving a notification for an available product if this one is out of stock option. The strange thing is - although my product is still available (has stock) - it is still allowing the customer to sign up for alerts when the product becomes available... shouldn't it just hide this feature altogether? Please see screenshot here: . http://www.freeimagehosting.net/8k1hs Could anyone advise how could I remove the feature when the product is still in stock? Thanks so much for your help in advance.
  2. Hi webplus, Thank you so much for your suggestion - it does work!
  3. Hi all, I've completed the css changes for my website on Firefox. It looks just the way I want it to (see URL below):- http://www.staging.fashionurges.com/ Unfortunately, when I tried to view my website on Internet Explorer 9, it looks like a complete mess. I turned off "Compatibility View", as it just made it worse. Home Page 1) The nivo slider on the front page - disappeared? When the page first loads, I can see the images for a brief moment, but after that, the entire nivo slider just disappears, leaving the nivo slider small selection buttons visible at the top right of the page. Product Page: e.g: http://www.staging.fashionurges.com/13-metallic-peep-toe-heels.html 1) The Add this button disappeared. Instead it is showing the links in text format.. (Share on facebook, share on twitter, share on email... ) the icons have all disappeared. I'm wondering how do I resolve these issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.
  4. Hi Robin, Thank you very much for your help! I tried your solution but it didn't quite work (I must be doing something wrong) but it did give an idea on how to resolve the issue. Thank you again for your time and advice - you rock! Cheers!
  5. Hi all, I'm hoping that you could help me with my issue below... tried asking the developer whom I bought my PS1.5 theme from but he was not willing to help, so I had to make the changes on my own. Basically, this is the end result I am hoping to get on my product page (the "you might also like" and "most popular picks" located side by side): http://www.staging.fashionurges.com/13-metallic-peep-toe-heels.html Unfortunately, when there is no “most popular picks” (=also purchased products) hooked to the page, the “you might also like” (=related products) module shifts to the top and overlaps with the main product photo... If I try to push it to the bottom by changing the {margin-top:-200px} css code, it affects the other working page as well. http://www.staging.fashionurges.com/12-studded-boots.html This is my first time using Prestashop and I'm not familiar with CSS, so hope this is not a silly question... If anyone has any idea how to fix this, would you care to share the solution with me? Thanks so much in advance for your help.
  6. Hi Sam, Did you manage to find a fix for this? I'm facing the same problem as well and I don't know what's wrong. It's so frustrating.
  7. Hi Robin, I tried the tutorial you recommended but nothing seems to happen on the CMS page. I must be doing something wrong... Just wondering what should I write to replace the //code to execute? public function hookMyHook($params) { //CODE TO EXECUTE } Please help... thanks.
  8. Hi Robin, Thanks so much for your help. I'll give this a try and let you know how it goes.
  9. Hi Robin, Thanks very much for your reply. As I am very new to Prestashop, I am not quite sure how to get that done. Is there some documentation or tutorial available on Prestashop on how to do this?
  10. Hi, I'm very new to Prestashop 1.5... I'm trying to figure out if it's at all possible to display the newsletter signup form on a CMS page, instead of hooking it to the footer or left column block. I would just like to display a link on the Homepage, and when the user clicks on it, he/she will be redirected to a CMS page where he/she can sign up for the newsletter. Is this possible? I've tried searching the forums but the instructions doesn't seem to work for me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks.
