So after a couple years I'm now trying to update my website. Last time I moved the shop into a folder so the homepage wouldn't be the storefront. now I manually moved back the files to root folder and when I try to access back office, it does nothing after putting in the password. I guess there's something I must edit in some file and not just manually move things by myself but i forgot all about how to do so lol Hope somebody can help. Thanks!!

Hello guys, I need some help with this. The thing is that I created a landing page named welcome.html for my fashion brand's website because I wanted to add extra content other than the shop. I successfully editet the .htcaccess file with the following code: #Alternate default index page DirectoryIndex welcome.html It all seemed to work until a client tried to add a product to their cart. A syntax error showed up whenever we tried and i don't know what else may stop working with the landing page enabled. Is it that I need to add extra code to the html file? Hope someone can help! thank you!!

whoops sorry, english is not my native language and I guess I explaind horribly. What I meant is that, besides of the newsletter subscription block, which I hooked on the footer, I have other buttons and images that encourage people to subscribe so they will get a 15% discount on their first purchase. I'd like the subscription form to appear once people click on these pictures throught an href or something simple that would call it. I hope I explained better this time

Hello, I have several newsletter buttons hyperlinks and creatives besides of the blocknewsletter. I just want them to call the newsletter subscription form when clicked. I'm sure there is an easy way to do it but it's something i never did before and i have no idea how to do it. Any advice? many thanks in advance!

I need help! i didn't even notice that the block categories i have in the left column was not displaying in the site when switched to the secondary language, spanish. I have no clue why is this happening. Just checked the categories in the BO and all of them are set to display and with all the translations. I think this might have happened while editing my custom theme, but don't know how or when and I really don't know how to find the source of the problem. Here is the site: www.quirky-me.com You'll see the tree categories menu is displaying correctly in the english version, but if switching to spanish it will disappear any ideas? Hi, I have this free module called Home Modal Window which shows a popup window to new guests when they enter my site. I just wanted to use it as a newsletter subscription popup but I don't have the skills to put it to work. How can I add a subscription form and a button and make it work? Hi, See the attached screenshots the customer sent me A customer just placed an order and for some reason the total price displayed does not correspond to the actual amount we obtain by adding the shipping costs to the product price. The funny part is that she was charged nor the total which is displayed in the order summary nor the actual total but a higher price... I don't know what the hell happened, but this was the first and last time I had this problem since later orders were all ok. Any idea on what could have happened? Thanks for reading!

Ok, I'll continue with my monologue, I just opened the file from a zip I had of a previous install and I discovered it was corrupted with many lines missing. I hope this isn't part of a bigger problem. I just pasted the missing lines to the file and the site appears to be showing correctly for now

I thought it was already activated but I checked better and I was looking at another line. Hi, I just found out that my site is just a blank page at this moment. I just submitted a ticket to my hosting service but I wanted to try some help here and see if someone would have any idea of what could be happening :/ I checked and all the files are in place, and the index.php file looks ok to me. I also checked and the error reporting looks activated, but i can't check what's wrong. the site is an entirely white page, no 404 error or anything but white. www.quirky-me.com Also, I haven't touched any files for weeks, so I'm sure I didn't touch anything!!
