Partially solved: For those who may encounter a similar problem I succeed to edit the category narrative through phpmyadmin. It doesn't fix the existing problem but allows me some room for maintaining the category uptodate. 1- Connect to phpmyadmin 2-browse the DB to the table ps_category_lang 3- Click Edit for the relevant category 4- Then directly input the text in the description field and save For the pics I have uploaded through ftp in the img/c folder the pics with the correct name each time (my problem was with the category 15) 15-category_default.jpg 15-large_default.jpg 15-medium_default.jpg 15-small_default.jpg 15.jpg

Hi I have upgraded in a test environment (ftp all the files of active site to a new folder and copy the existing DB in a new one) The upgrade went from 1.5.4.1 to 1.6.0.11 I use the default bootstrap template => I have ironed out most of the little probs thanks to this forum. I took note in the process to replicate the solutions during the real upgrade. I’m now stuck for the last week with a strange problem and didn’t find any mention of it or solutions. In CATALOGUE>CATEGORY I have updated all the categories without any probs. Text and picture (500x150) But one of the categories does not accept update. When I upload the picture I have no error message. But the picture is not there. When I update the text it takes the changes but once back to the main category pages in the BO the text is back to original version All the other categories accept the modifications (Picture and text) except this one. I tested the picture in another category and the upload/modification went well I created new category without probs and I have also added new prods in this problematic category without problem I went in mysql to check for any difference between that category and the other ones but couldn’t find one (I'm not a msql pro) I have full rights on my webspace, I emptied few times the cash, deactivated etc... The debug mode doesn’t report any fault. Any idea?

Hi I use PS 1.6.0.8 updated around 2 months ago from 1.5 (I went through few update on the PS 1.6) The problem appeared this morning. Some products will not update in the BO, while others will update but no change in the front office. Last night I created few new products without any problem. This morning I tried to add to these products description, quantity, pricing etc Each time I have the "Successful Update" message using either "Save and Stay" or "Save" When I return to the product page in BO all the updates have vanished and back as it was. Obviously there is no changes in the FO product page Also: I succeed to create new products today but they will not appear in the FO (Visibility set to "Everywhere"). The product creation works fine but I cannot do any modifcations afterwards. In catalogue > Products: Some products display a different stock level that the one on the product page. Done so far: Ran the Error repport without any results (using define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true);) Cleared the cache (Adv Para > Performance Top right button "CLEAR CACHE") Cleared cookies and history from my different browsers then re-login in my BO Drunk too much coffee Created new customer account and did test order (no prob) I browsed the forum but didn't find any clue except what I have done so far

I can only agree. I use PS for the last 3yrs and I am very pleased with it. First time in 2 yrs I have to post in this forum mainly because of a very local module (Irish payment system). I found tons of info and solutions here and I realy want to give a A+++ at the team and all the community members.

Hi Thanks for your fast reply. My version is the 1.6.0.8 with the default Bootstrap theme In fact the module was, I think, in conflict with an older version dragged from the 1.5 PS before the update. I uninstalled the module, then deleted it. Upon new installation I also run a sql querry I directly got from Realex as apparently the older module version clashed with the new one. (the older one was not available from the Prestashop Add-on shop) All is working fine now. I learned my lesson and will be sure to disable and may be unistalled this sort of modules before an upgrade. Thanks for your help PS: Yes of course I forgot to check the hooks by payment type. All is good now

Hi Everyone I upgraded a test environment from 1.5 to 1.6 After few glitches all is OK. I have a display problem on my quick-order page. If i activate Draft, Wire etc... the payment option appears in a table I use the Realex payment module for the Credit/debit card payment All i succeed so far is to have a line (JS link i think) and no table or picture I use the V1.7 Realex module unmodified downloaded from the Prestashop Add-ONS shop Any idea? Less important, is there a way to sort the payment options by my preferences ( i.e Credit card first etc...)
