Thank you very much for sharing your solution Rita. I was having the same issue, having the prestashop newly installed and under construcition in a subfolder something like: www.domain.com/prestashop I had the SSL certificate installed in the main domain ans showing the secure lock, but each time i got into the subfolder it wasn´t showing the secure site logo. With your solution now running like silk. Thanks again!

Buenas: Gracias por tu respuesta.Si por supuesto que actualizaré más adelante, el problema es uqe de 1.4.8 a 1.7 no hay en one click upgrade así que tendré que hacerlo manual. Pues ya he intentado borrando la imagen y volviendola a subir y sigue saliendo el enlace con http:// Lo curioso es que tengo una tienda casi por cerrar más vieja aun con 1.3.1 y www.decenarios.info la imagen no sale con el http, si no que el enlaza diréctamente al directorio donde está la imagen. Seguiré buscando dentro del código del módulo a ver si veo alguna manera de solucionarlo. Un saludo y gracias.

Buenas tardes Tengo un sitio de prestashop antiguo, hecho con la version 1.4.8 . He istalado recientemente el certificado SSL . Pues bien, algunas páginas, entre ellas la principal no muestran el candado. Parece cer por enlaces a imágenes o sitios http y no https. Analizando en código con ópera, me encuentra entre cosas: "Mixed Content: index.php:86 The page at 'https://www.plataoutlet.com/index.php' was loaded over a secure connection, but contains a form that targets an insecure endpoint 'http://www.plataoutlet.com/buscar'. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection. Mixed Content: index.php:744 The page at 'https://www.plataoutlet.com/index.php' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://www.plataoutlet.com/modules/editorial/homepage_logo.jpg'. This content should also be served over HTTPS." La segunda parece ser por un módulo llamado Editorial. Al buscar en el directorio raiz el archivo index.php veo que solo tiene 30 lineas, no puedo ver la 744. He buscado en los archivos del módulo, he regenerado la imagen, he buscado en el archivo index.php del theme que uso (no es el default de prestashop) pero no logro en contrar en donde cambiar esa linea. ¿Alguna idea de como solucionar esto? Hi there: I´m doing a fresh clean install of prestashop. Have been a long while since i instaled this last time (version 1.4.8) i would like to ask you. If you were in my position. What version would you Install and with what PHP version in serverl? I´m looking for stability and good performance. Thanks and regards. David

I´m trying that solution in my old prestashop 1.4.8 version: A few hours and no Spam, y was receiving 5 per hour till the change. No other (captcha) tried yet. I will feed back how it goes. Thanks!

Just in case is usefull to anyone: I had same problem in my old shop prestashop 1.4.8. Trying to add items to the shopping cart but nothing happened, untill i cleared the cookies in the web browser the cart worked again, but after a time the problem cameback. Sometimes after that it adds one item, but i couldn´t add more. After trying clearing cache in browser, flushing cache in server, changing parameters in performance backoffice, forcing compile, disabling cache.. nothing worked... I read something about prestashop version compatibility vs php version, then i checked the PHP version my shop was using in the CPanel- PHP config of my hosting provider. I got in there and i saw there was selected PHP 5.6 that is a newer version. I selected PHP 5.4 and all problems with the cart were solved. Note: If you change from PHP version it generetes a new php.in i file in the root folder of the hosting. If you have customized your php.ini first save it and then change the version.

I had a trouble with my site prestashop 1.4.8, suddenly shopping cart was not loading products (cart empty), sometimes i cleared the cookies of the web browser and it worked again, sometimes i could not add two items two the cart it erase one. After thinking what could have gone wrong, i found out cheking my Cpanel - PHP Config that my provider has changed the PHP version from 5.4 to 5.6 without notice. I reset to 5.4 and Now it´s working fine.

The search.php you need to change is in Classes folder, not in root. Cheers.

Worked perfect in 1.4.8.2!! Even not necessary in my case regenerate my index. Just made change in line 56 and voila!!! Thanks Nemo

Bueno despues de mucho buscar esto funcionó en 1.4.8 para mostrar la referencia. Editar el archivo product-list.tpl de el tema que estes utilizando /theme/tutema/product-list.tpl Y añadir lo que esta indicado justo encima del otro texto, el cual solo pongo como referencia para que vean en donde colocar el código. Añadir esto: <p class="product_desc"><a>Referencia: {$product.reference}</a></p> Encima de donde esta esta linea: <p class="product_desc"><a title="{$product.description_short|truncate:360:'...'|strip_tags:'UTF-8'|escape:'htmlall':'UTF-8'}">{$product.description_short|truncate:360:'...'|strip_tags:'UTF-8'}</a></p> Salu2
