  1. I litteraly have to code out what I want for the home page to look like now. This isn't cool for an upgrade. Am I missing something here? Is there a cousel for the text editor home page etc....???
  2. Why is the counsel for text editing not in the 1.4.9.0? I can not import images or customize the home page with color or text size etc.... This option is in the older versions. Is there a fix? Why did one of my posts get deleted about the autoupgrade? Will I get an answer to this thread? What is the square root of pie? Is there life on other planets?
  3. Is it me or are their no text edior counsels for 1.4.9.0 at all? Im working on the home page in the "home text editor" and no editor cousel to import an image or alter text as I like. Do I have to break out my html for dummies book and resort to coding?
  4. Hey developers.... I just noticed as Im setting up the new PS for my client there is no text editor for the "tools/cms" tab when i apply all my clients "terms of service", "contact us" forms. This is in the older version 1.4.8.3 but not in the later 1.4.9.0???? You should add this to the newest additions my friends. Us marketing directores need this to tweek out our clients shoppng carts. FYI
  5. I installed 1.4.9.0 for a client and noticed in the "tools" tab / 1-click upgrade did not show up and said missing "ajax-upgradetab.php" please reset the module etc.... I found this odd so I deleted the autoupgrade folder in my module directory and put it back in. Tried every option to pull it out and put it back in. Would not come up in the tools area. I then realized there is an autoupgrade directory in the admin folder and placed the "ajax-upgradetab.php" file in this directory. The tab finally showed up complete with the needed suggested options to upgrade. Is this a flaw in the 1.4.9.0? If this is and I just fixed it.... Do I get to collect a paycheck from prestashop? heehee
  6. looks like manual upgrade is the only solution
  7. I did a roll back and started the upgrade again. I almost got it the second time but stopped just before it finished. Just had to update the database. Really weird. Thanks
  8. [TECHNICAL ERROR - JAVASCRIPT] Error detected for action "upgradeDb".Starting restoration. got the autoupgrade to work but I get this popup error message during the process
  9. Is it another way to deactivate your shop than the option in the preference tab? I migrated the cart and database to another host and have a few bugs. I cant deactivate the cart for some reason wont allow it. Im doing an autoupgrade from 1.4.8.2 to 1.4.9.0 and the only option holding up the upgrade is a red X for the shop. I posted this twice mods sorry wasn't sure if I was in the right forum
  10. Do you think if I make a dump file of the old MySql from the phpMyAdmin and upload it to the new host this will resolve all the MySql issues? I copied over almost an entire new site and the tabs do no show up nor most of the home page. Only the header and a logo. Look forward to your reply.
  11. Hi Benjamin, Thank you for great support. I noticed all php files for the tabs are in the tabs folder.
  12. Thanks got me back there! This is interesting. We keep knocking out one issue after another but I keep running into something else. No tabs are showing up in the panel. Shows "Tab cannot be found".
  13. Wow that's great! I added the row and a multitude of error came up but that one disappeared. Although what I did was follow the pathways and discovered each was a denial permission and all in the smarty folder. Don't know why this happened from one host to the next. What I did was ftp into the folder and change the permission reclusively. NOW THE HOME PAGE COMES UP!!! Thank you!!! I have one more small problem and it has to do with that MySql again. Im getting this error when I log into the back end. Fatal error (Employee -> id_lang is empty) Do you have a simple fix for this? Can I just export ps_employee from the old host and import this to the new host in the phpMySql to fix this? and thanks for helping Benjamin. I know you're watching this thread lol
