Hi all, I noticed recently that I recently have received hundreds of new 'customers' with the same fake name, but with different email address. These accounts do not have associated addresses, so I am guessing they have been created by bots. Other than delete them, what other options are there to prevent their creation in the first place? Would modules like re-Captcha be sufficient? Let me know

Prestashop version 1.6.1.17 This past week I've had a number of customers contact me saying they cannot order because they cannot create an address. The store has been working fine up until this started, so I am at a loss to understand why the issue has occurred. Has someone had the same issue? Can someone assist me?

Hi there. I am running PS v 1.6.1.2 and in the last 10 days or so customers have been reporting that the Paypal module goes to a blank screen when someone tries to buy. They can go through products, select one, put it in the cart, login, go to the payment screen, select "Pay with PayPal" and then get a blank screen. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Nothing has changed regarding our PayPal credentials. The rest of the site is functional... except the important bit – getting paid for orders Any advice would be appreciated Alan

Ever since I updated to the latest version of Prestashop I get errors when I try to edit or add a product The errors I get say The uploaded file exceeds the "Maximum size for a downloadable product" set in preferences (2MB) or the post_max_size/ directive in php.ini (0MB). or The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini even though the file is 56k When I look at PHP.ini I see the following memory_limit = 512M upload_max_filesize = 1GB post_max_size = 512M safe_mode = Off max_execution_time = 300 I also tried to upload a payment module (as a zip file and got an error there also (file too large limit 1 bytes) Any ideas what is wrong? Appreciate your assistance.

The RESET fixed it thanks Vekia. Now that is is back to default, how do I move it? For example, it would look better perhaps to be located above the menu bar, beside the Search.

Hello I need to show tax on my invoices, but cannot see how to configure this. 1. My product catalog correctly shows tax (GST) of 10% for each item 2. I can see the tax value in shopping cart. 3. The invoice does not show tax, though it is reflected in the final price. Can someone advise me on what to do? Regards Alan frameskin.com

Hello I recently upgraded my shop (due to OnePageCheckout breaking something when I when to uninstall it) but since the upgrade I have been receiving error messages about the shopping cart totals not adding correctly. Here's the error message A client has encountered a problem with the module PayPalAPI, see the report: PayPal response: TIMESTAMP -> 2012-04-30T19:01:03Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10413 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details. L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> The totals of the cart item amounts do not match order amounts. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error PayPal returned error Having a look at the cart items I can see that one of the items (one that contains a combination) shows an incorrect value. One of my customers today said that the price of the item only changed once he logged in as a registered customer. I am using PS 1.4.6.2 and my paypal gateway version is 2.8.5 Thinking the paypal version might be out of date/problematic, I downloaded the latest version from Prestashop Add-ons and after applying it I now get a fatal error message Fatal error: Cannot make static method ModuleCore::display() non static in class PayPal in /home/frames27/public_html/modules/paypal/paypal.php on line 1362 Can someone help me please. I have tried, but the themes do not mention who the developer is (only says Community). How would I find this out? I am using the Prestashop Addons area to view and potentially purchase themes. I received another response from Customer Service and all she said was that I do not understand her answer, but she did not provide me with any suggestions or alternatives to address my question. He there I am wondering if someone on the forum can help me, as I am getting no meaningful help from customer service (I receive the same answer each time*). I would like to be advised on what I need to do... I am interested in buying themes (TM36663 and TM36669) to use on my shops. Both themes state compatibility with 1.4.5 only (I am currently using version 1.4.4.1). I need to know 1. If updating to the latest version 1.4.6.2 will allow me to use these themes, or. 2. If not, if there is way to download an previous compatible version (1.4.5.x) so I can use these themes. OK, so I removed the currency contact, sitemap, search and bookmark parts from the masthead area of my prestashop cart, and now wish to have foreign currencies display for overseas customers. Can someone advise how I can add currency back somewhere (ideally just above or under the 'Welcome, Log in" area at the very right hand side. When you look at my site you will understand, as I have a wider than standard logo in place. Note: I did try to re-insert the currency block and in dropped in right in the centre on my masthead, and there seems to be no way to direct where it is positioned. www.frameskin.com Can someone assist please?
