Salut C'est la deuxième fois que la boutique se retrouve bloqué (impossible d'effectuer un paiement pour les clients) car le module prestashop checkout me déconnecte et à besoin d'être reconfiguré car une mise à jour est disponible. Les clients peuvent parcourir la boutique, ajouter des produits au panier, choisir leur mode de livraison, mais à l'étape du choix de méthode de paiement, rien n'apparait et le bouton de validation est grisé. Une fois que j'effectue la mise à jour (via le gestionnaire de màj du back-office), on me demande de ré-associer la boutique à mon compte prestashop account, premier conflit, vu qu'un message m'annonce qu'une boutique est déjà associé à mon compte, ce qui est normal vu que c'est la boutique en question, donc je dois dissocier la boutique puis la ré-associer alors que c'ext exactement la même boutique, même installation, même url etc... bref, une fois l'association effectué, un message m'indique : Une erreur de configuration a été détectée. Veuillez réinitialiser le module PrestaShop Checkout et le configurer à nouveau. Est ce que d'autres personnes rencontrent ce problème ? Merci ps version : 1.7.8.9

Hi, Every time an update is available for ps_checkout module, it logs me off my account and I need to re-authenticate once again This creates many problems The main one is tha payment is disabled and customers can no longer place order !!! When i update the module and try to re-authenticate, i get messages telling me that my store is already connected to a ps_account / ps_checkout and that : You can only associate your shop with one account. So be sure to choose the right one! I then tried logging in/out to re-associate the store Then i get an error message saying that an error occured and that I need to de-activate re-activate the ps_checkout (PrestaShop Checkout) module to re-configure it from scratch Am I the only one experiencing this nonsense ? Hello, When creating a product combination, it is possible to select images that are specific for the combination picked by the user. On Prestashop 1.6, when the user picked a combination, those images are displayed AND a little DISPLAY ALL IMAGES link/button appears below the thumbnails letting the user display the rest of the images (which can be useful) It doesn't seem to be the case on prestashop 1.7 as shown on the attached image. Any idea how to bring this useful button back ?

I had a look at their website and themes, they certainly look good. I think @Mediacom87 's comments were targetted more on the technical aspect Sometimes to make things look good, you may need to do dirty things under the hood. I'm usually more inclined to go for a less is more philosophy. I like keeping things simple and not having a website cluttered with modules, sliding elements, moving and flashing animations etc... As was said before, high traffic ecommerce websites (amazon, aliexpress, ebay ..) don't necessarily look good but they get the job done. The goal is to keep it simple, loads fast and easy to use. Google doesn't care what your shop looks like 😜. Of course, if it looks good, that's a plus. But that's not the main goal. But of course priorities may vary. We can share our experiences and advice, the goal is for everyone to be happy with what they have Thanks again to everyone who helped.

Yep, I ended up 'resetting' the default theme and then i created a child theme based off the default "classic" theme. Now I apply edits to the custom.css stylesheet of the child-theme and I use a Elementor-like page builder, it works like a charm (on the surface anyway). Have you ever used those ? Would you recommend them ? I'm talking about : PrettyBlocks, Creative Elements for example. Thanks again for your answers

Hi, I want to change the background color of the main wrapper section. No need to go through the hassle of creating a child theme, just for this. So i just targeted #wrapper within theme.css. Located in : /website/theme/classic/assets/css/theme.css But each time, i change the background color value (from #F6F6F6 to #FFFFFF), the website is broken and appears as if no css stylesheet is loaded. I tried emptying the cache, nothing happens. How can I restore the default theme and what causes this behaviour ? Thanks

What kind of problems should I be aware of regarding 1.7x ? ps : si j'avais su qu'il y avait cette branche 'indépendate' de la version 1.6x, j'aurais probablement opté pour cette option. Dommage pour le coup, mais c'est bon à savoir, ça peut toujours servir, merci pour les efforts !

Hi, I have a shop running on 1.6x that's been on stand-by/sleep mode for a while now I'm thinking about re-activating it but i'm a bit lost as to which version to migrate/upgrade to 1.7.8.8, 1.7.8.9, 8.0.4 .. ? The shop isn't that large, a few dozen products, and 3 or 400 registered customers. Any help or recommendation is welcome. Thanks

Hi, I had a shop a while ago that lasted for around three years. I suspended that activity so i shut that shop down since then. Now a friend that had similar activity offered that i take over his shop and carry on with it, so i would like to know if it is doable for me to export the customers from my old shop and import them into the new one (that has a few customers of its own). Hello, Lately i've been having weird things happening on a shop running v 1.6.1.24 For example, when I reload the product edit page after changing the available quantities, nothing changes, i still see the original quantities as if I didn't change the quantities. When i check on the ps_stock_available database table, I can see that the changes have been saved, i can see the correct quantity on the product page, i can add the product to the cart, but on the product edit page on the backoffice, it still shows 0. As for combinations, changing those has no effect. If I create or edit existing color/size combinations, after pushing the save button and reloading the page, it is as if i didn't change anything. ps : I'm using manual quantity settings, no multi-store, no advance stock management. Any help is welcome. Thanks
