  1. P.S. Just saw that the Documentation Team changed the update documentation today. I did everything based on previous documentation version (v.12) which did not involve doing first the update on a local server. Anyway, the problem occurs when I try to access http://www.maralepostcards.com/store/install/upgrade/upgrade.php.
  2. Hi, I am trying to do a manual upgrade from 1.4.7 to 1.5.2 following the steps described at http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Manual+update+%28experts+only%29 At step 3, when I try to run the upgrade.php script I get a blank screen from 404.php I have repeated the uploading of 1.5.2 files just in case there was some error during initial uploading, however got the same result again. Any suggestions ? Could this have to do with file permissions ?
  3. Funny thing, i tried changing back to 755 one by one the cache sub-folders and files in order to narrow down the location of the problem and the site worked even when everything was turned back to 755 ! I am by now getting crazy. Anyway, thanks for your assistance
  4. Thanks Benjamin, I changed permissions on cache folder (and subfolders/files) to 755 and nothing happened. However I tried 777 and it worked ! Question : is it safe to leave permissions at 777 on cache folder ?
  5. 6. Hi, I just made a fresh 1.5.0.17 installation on my server, however when I try to access the front- or back-office I get totally blank screens. http://www.alvagram....store/index.php Any advice ?
  7. Hi Mike, This is exactly what I did in the first place, i.e. removed (commented-out) the lines you refer to from footer.tpl, but it did not work. On the contrary, I used hxd's suggestion and the logo is gone ! Thank you both for your assistance. One more question though : Does this mean that evey time I make a change in any of the .tpl or .php files I will need to turn force compile on and off again ?
  8. Thanks Mike, I am using the alternative version of the default theme. This is my website : http://www.maralepostcards.com/store
  9. Hello, How can I remove Prestashop logos etc from the left area of the footer ? I commented out the relevant div from the footer.tpl file of my theme but it did not work.
