Gracias Dahuegon , bueno me hiciste dudar, pero no es ese el problema, ya lo revisé, el presta está alojado en httpdocs . Además el hosting no me permite modificar otra carpeta más que esa..... El tema es que hay que modificar el PHP, ellos (hosting) no tienen problemas pero debo decirles exactamente, que variables y donde deben cambiar, y que tiene que decir!!! ya lo bajé y volví a instalar grrrr! que hago pues llevo una semana parado y ya no se si cambiar al oscommerce Buen Dia

Hola - Tengo el Prestashop en el servidor del hosting, y al correr la instalación en el paso 2 aparece en la sección PHP settings (modify via your PHP admin software): esta línea en rojo # Allowed to create new files and folders todo lo demás está bien, mi proveedor de hosting me pide que le diga exactamente cual variable debe modificar para esto y yo no soy programador, ni entiendo demasiado, por favor si alguien puede indicarme que es lo que tienen que hacer para que prosiga la instalación YA REVISÉ OTRAS SOLUCIONES DEL FORO, PERO NINGUNA HASTA AHORA ME SOLUCIONA EL PROBLEMA ALGUIEN QUE AYUDE? GRACIAS
