  1. Usind PS 1.6 I added the Home Text Editor module. It worked fine. But later when I clicked on my Modules directory I get this error. If anything, I accidentally hit the Update All button before the error. I've been searching and can't find a fix for this. Can anyone help? [PrestaShop] [PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'The method getReductionByIdGroup in the class Group is already overridden by the module groupinc version 1.2 at 2015-07-22 12:43:34 .' in /home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php:2807 Stack trace: #0 /home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php(2727): ModuleCore->addOverride('Group') #1 /home/collect/public_html/modules/groupinc/upgrade/install-1.3.4.php(33): ModuleCore->installOverrides() #2 /home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php(499): upgrade_module_1_3_4(Object(GroupInc)) #3 /home/collect/public_html/controllers/admin/AdminModulesController.php(1494): ModuleCore->runUpgradeModule() #4 /home/collect/public_html/classes/controller/Controller.php(189): AdminModulesControllerCore->initContent() #5 /home/collect/public_html/override/classes/controller/Controller.php(43): ControllerCore->run() #6 /home/collect/public_html/classes/Dispatcher.php(367): Controller->run() #7 /home/collect/public_html/admin25600bvvk/index.php(58): Dispatcher :/home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'The method getReductionByIdGroup in the class Group is already overridden by the module groupinc version 1.2 at 2015-07-22 12:43:34 .' in /home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php:2807 Stack trace: #0 /home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php(2727): ModuleCore->addOverride('Group') #1 /home/collect/public_html/modules/groupinc/upgrade/install-1.3.4.php(33): ModuleCore->installOverrides() #2 /home/collect/public_html/classes/module/Module.php(499): upgrade_module_1_3_4(Object(GroupInc)) #3 /home/collect/public_html/controllers/admin/AdminModulesController.php(1494): ModuleCore->runUpgradeModule() #4 /home/collect/public_html/classes/controller/Controller.php(189): AdminModulesControllerCore->initContent() #5 /home/collect/public_html/override/classes/controller/Controller.php(43): ControllerCore->run() #6 /home/collect/public_html/classes/Dispatcher.php(367): Controller->run() #7 /home/collect/public_html/admin25600bvvk/index.php(58): Dispatcher
  2. My site is using Prestashop 1.6. Recently I accidentally went over my disk quota at my host with my vps and all my sites stopped working correctly. After solving that, it took a while for the databases to come back to normal. On one of my sites it still isn't quite normal in the back office, even though everything looks good on the front end. When I click on Categories in the back office, every category and subcategory shows up. However, when I work on Products and click the category tree to see certain products, some of the subcategories are missing. It seems like I need to regenerate the category tree somehow. Example. In the first image in Products, only one subcategory is showing under New World. In the second image taken under Categories, there are 3 subcategories. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks. I resolved it by going into Back Office/Categories and finding the missing Subcategories and disabling each of them. Then I re-enabled them and they started showing up again under the Products category tree.
  3. Thanks to all who responded and PMed me. I am using a longtime member of the forum to transition this site from 1.4 to 1.6. It's my main online business site, so I didn't want to fool around with it on my own. I appreciate all the great help here.
  4. I'm using PS 4.11. Haven't upgraded because this is so stable. My mobile version of the site "works" but my customers are complaining. There is a product slide show running on the main site and it is center stage when pulling the site up with an iPad or phone. Those customers who can figure out that the menus lie below go down there and see the choice to "View Full Site". They often do this because it's easier to navigate. That's great, easier for them and it looks like the site they're used to, but for one major problem: They can add products to the cart, but checking out never gets past the Shipping Choice. Then it reverts back to the beginning of checkout. If they left it in mobile mode, they can check out fine. But none of them realize that. So I would like someone to tweak the mobile site, making it look more like the "normal" site if possible so that people can navigate easily. The choice to switch to "View Full Site" should disappear as it just leads to problems checking out. You have to create a test login to see the shopping cart and be manually approved or you won't get to run a test shopping cart. So let me know if you're interested in checking it out. www.ecg.com/new/
  5. I tried it just now, no success. It actually does that on every category and subcategory. But when you click on a product it's back to normal. It's almost like when I'm clicking on a category a needed css file isn't loading. The header.tpl has some strange css calls, so I'm thinking I need to keep tweaking that. I built the theme on presta-theme-maker.com a few upgrades ago, which is probably why the header.tpl is looking so different to me (from the default). Thanks, vekia.
  6. This one has me stumped. I'm upgraded to 1.5.6.2, but after the previous upgrade my menu is messed up. I know it's theme related because the default theme works perfectly. I've been tinkering with header.tpl and categories.tpl and not getting too far. Here's the normal working menu on my home page: Here's the messed up menu in a category: Thanks!
  7. Thanks for posting, Bruce. The only thing that worked for me was using an older version of Stripe. This will be a big help.
  8. I'm not using Cloudflare now, so I'm going from memory. You basically set up a CNAME to run your site through cloudflare. I had set up ssl.domain.com in a separate cpanel so that I could install a dedicated IP and certificate in addition to the dedicated ip/cpanel I had set up for the main domain in the multi-store setup. In Cloudflare, I created Page Rules (easy and explained in Cloudflare) that pointed ssl.domain.com to www.domain.com (remember, I had domain.com parked in the main cpanel of the multi-store, so ssl.domain.com had a different IP address and a separate cpanel) Cloudflare page rules made it so that I had SSL in my second store whenever I needed it, either with a www.domain.com call or an ssl.domain.com call) Hope this isn't confusing. I went through all this to get separate ssl certificates on each store in a multi-store environment. Since last December, I've been running PS 1.5.* sites as individual installs, no more multi-store for me. But it did work when I had it.
  9. Unfortunately, each one listed by hand. I haven't been all that successful at importing data.
  10. No, my SSL certs are for single domains. I think the newest version of PS can handle ssl sharing, which I'm interested in.
  11. I renamed gsitemap to gsitemap_old in modules and ftp'd version 1.8 from my backup and it works fine. I have no idea why v.2.2.3 isn't working. If I find out, I'll post.
  12. No. I'm getting internal server errors. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling to no avail. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
  13. I just upgraded from 1.4.10 to 1.4.11 and I'm likin' it. It feels snappier, faster, and I have a large site. That said, I was very happy when 1.4.9 came along; it was much faster than anything before. I agree with bellini13's advice. In my case the theme was fine. The only adjustments I had to make were to re-enable all my third party modules because the upgrade process closes them, which is a good idea. I've had luck with the 1.4.* rollback module, so I just made backups of everything and upgraded. I would say, don't even think about upgrading to 1.5.4 unless you're ready for a lot of downtime fixing problems. I mean days to weeks.
  14. Nice! I also found (as have others) that the included Fedex module slows everything down. Especially the Add to Cart. It's unfortunate because I really need Fedex, but I'm waiting for the next version. But with all the extraneous modules uninstalled, I'm finding that 1.5.4 is pretty much as fast as my large shop on 1.4.10.
  15. My host set up my php.ini and I noticed that it's commented out (;register_globals = off) so they're not worried. If I was running many different applications I'd probably want it off, but I'm just running very recent to very latest versions of prestashop. I understand that register_globals can be a security concern with old or poorly-written software. I'm trusting that prestashop isn't very vulnerable. There must be something in prestashop that requires register_globals for ssl if that's where you're getting the error.
