Hello. We have left our shop on 1.6.1.24 because it worked and when we tried upgrading it failed. Maybe we should have persevered but we didn't. Now we have a shop that is using 6954MB and our host is asking us to pay more than we can afford to cover this size. We have tried deleting emails usage to little effect. We have tried deleting old carts but we just get error messages saying the operation failed. We hoped to upgrade the system and then trim it down, but now appear stuck. Any suggestions welcome. We are all "crap" at computers! cheers jon

Is Presta shop 1.6.1.4 compatible with Server upgrade to php 5.5? We can't add new items anymore, boxes just return blank after pressing save. The server upgraded to php 5.5 and thats the only change we can identify. Other than occasionally hitting our bandwidth limit. Any ideas or confirmation that it is compatible would be nice, thanx jon

Leo do you mean clearing the cache in my browser or a specific cache within prestashop? In which case where is that? cheers Jon

Nope we stuck with the standard theme. I tried regenerating the thumbs but it failed probably timed out? I will try that again thank you for the suggestions. site is www.activedistribution.org/shop cheers jon

we have finally upgraded to 1.6 and now the images that should appear on the home page in the Featured Products and at top of New Products modules are failing to load. See attached image of home page. Any ideas? cheers Jon

We have a large shop using presta shop 1.41. Since our web server upgraded to PHP 5 the search engine eon the shop has ceased to work. We have tried upgrading to 1.6 but the categories disappeared . We have tried to sort it out but failed. The cost of getting developers to help out makes presta shop too expensive to use. Can anyone recommend a better shop system that we can easily migrate to without having to load in all the info individually again? cheers Jon

Gracias El Patron, but; if we are already at 1.4.3 is that not ahead of 1.4.1.11 and hence ready to "jump" to 1.6? We have no time to wait as the spikes in resource usage are making our server annoyed and crashing our site! The suggestion is that there's an issue with the shopping cart. Would jumping to another upgrade level help? cheers Jon

How do folx we haven't upgraded our site since 1.4.3 after major hassle with a previous upgrade. We now have an issue with the site sometimes using massive amounts of "resources". Sometimes up to 6gb! So we're thinking this maybe due to something that has been fixed in more recent versions? Can we upgrade from 1.4.3. directly to 1.6? Or do we need to go though each version step by step? Sorry if these questions are basic but I'm not confident with this stuff and the website has too much work on it to risk losing! cheers Jon

The post office option is there and is "ticked" but they cannot see a "Next" button jon

We recently upgraded to 1.4.3 and have received orders successfully but some customers (some of whom have successfully ordered before) reach the shipping page option of the check out only to find no "next" button to go any further forward. Not good please advise! jon

We've been trying to sort out a way of using wholesale prices for wholesale customers for a couple of years now the only help Prestashop offered was to sell us a 3000euro add on module! So good luck!

Good luck with this we've been trying to get a sensible answer from Prestashop for making use of the wholesale price for a couple of years now and the only answer we've had is a 3000euro special module add on. Sad isn't it?

So could someone who has done this tell us does it work? Does it cause any other problems? Have you upgraded to new system with it? All we want is to be able to use the wholesale prices for wholesale customers!! cheers jon

We have just upgraded from 1.2.5 to 1.3.5. and everything seems ok except for about 10% of our images are coming up as ? in a box. The images all loaded. It also seems that they come and go, though this may be an illusion depending on cache and refresh status!. Any ideas? thanx Jon
