How can I know if the wordpress site is hacked?

Yes there is a wordpress site as another domain on the same shared hosting account. I have two prestashop installations as two domains on the same shared hosting account. One is an actual store. The other as a CMS with no possibility to register an account or place an order. Both were hacked. The cms domain which is the main domain of this hosting account was simply redirected. The store domain some pages would not load. On some product pages when changing attributes an "undefined" error would pop up. But the fact some pages would load could be just the cache. The second time I was hacked I couldn't even access the back end of the store.

After upgrading my live store from PS 1.7.2 to 1.7.8.6, BO individual order pages are loading slow, about 15 seconds. To change order status the same, add tracking number the same. All other pages in BO load normal speed, including list of orders page. I removed all but the most essential BO modules, it didn’t fix. I disables all non native modules and overrides, it didn’t fix. I have another test shop with PS 1.7.8.5 installation on the same shared server and its functioning at normal speed. I want to pay someone to definitively fix this issue.

This worked for me in PS 1.7.6: 1. In files modules/ps_emailalerts/ps_emailalerts.php and themes/yourtheme/modules/ps_emailalerts/ps_emailalerts.php Replace: Emails.Subject With: Modules.Emailalerts.Emailsubject There are 5 occurrences, I changed all 5. 2. In ps_emailalerts/mails/en/ and themes/yourtheme/modules/ps_emailalerts/en/ add a lang.php file. I don't know if this step is necessary, I checked the lang.php files afterwards and there was nothing in them. 3. International - translations - installed modules translations - Mail alerts - Language English - Modify - Modules^Emailalerts^Emailsubject - Change: New order : #%d - %s to: YourText #%d - %s Translation will not save if you leave out this part which is the order Reference number: - %s Clear Cache.

I'm using PS 1.7 and need to do exactly this. But I don't see a Handling Fee option. How to do this with PS 1.7? Thanks.

I spend a lot of time in Translations but could not find Out-of-Stock. It seems to me this should be a simple task. Can't someone offer a solution?

PS 1.7.6.0 how to change the message on product page when product is out of stock. Currently it says "Out-of-Stock". I can change the message for when product is available when I edit the product, but I see nowhere to change the out of stock text. Thanks.
