Im not using anything, I have no access to anything anymore apart from the backup on the computer. I can open things in text edit or dreamweaver thats it. If I do a search for CMS_lang nothing comes up

Im looking for this too can you give a little more info on where to find it I don't have access to the BO anymore, just a back up

I've lost my site, gone, hacked, host won't allow it back up. But anyway. There is just ONE page I would like the copy for. I think it was a cms page? Is there any way to find the text for that page through the files I have for the backup of the site? thanks

Ok will do some more testing to make sure its fixed but using firefox seems to work, so browser issue?

The files are only for virtual downloads that won't upload at all are only around 400KB For product images I can see a Maximum file size of customer's pictures but no option for my images, they are only ever 50-100KB Im not sure about disk space but Ive been trying to deal with my web host for weeks and they just say it is a coding issue on the site. Thing is its been getting slower and slower at uploading and now won't upload at all. Im not great at these things but that does sound more like a space issue than coding to me. Im worried its my old version of the shop. Hi Ive just started getting an error when I try to upload more than one product image NETWORK_ERR: XMLHttpRequest Exception 101 I'm also now unable to upload any files for instant downloads, no error, the page just hangs on uploading and won't update. Same thing is happening on the home page, there are four "featured" products that aren't actually featured on the home page at all. I duplicated one and deleted the original and now Im stuck with a big grey question mark on my home page??

Hi Im a bit confused. I have one shop category that when you click on it you see the images and links for the subcategories - good. But then under that is every single product in all of those categories. All of these products only have the subcategory selected to be displayed in, not the main category. If I go into associations on any of the products I can move them into a sub category of a different main category and it works as it should. As soon as a move them back to a sub category of this particular one it starts appearing on the category page. Hopefully that makes sense PrestaShop™ 1.6.0.9

I have 1.6 and have it turned off on category_default under images but they are still showing. Any ideas? Someone raised it as an issue on the prestashop Facebook page a few months ago so I put a note on there too and pointed this thread out to preastashop. They told me it was probably my hosting providers servor performances. It is the same host Ive had with prestashop for 4-5 years and its only this latest version that seems to delete files every week. 1.4 maybe did one or two a year which was odd but not really an issue.

Ive got the same issue, Ive been pulling my hair out for days trying to work out why my virtual product emails suddenly stopped sending then I realised it was because there is no file there anymore! Im running the latest version of prestashop 1.6 and have just spent $100s on modules and themes and suddenly my core business doesn't work!?! I remember with prestashop 1.3 every now and again a product upload disappeared but it was pretty rare. This seems to be on nearly every file.

Hi Im running the latest version of prestashop and sell virtual products. I sell two types, instant downloads and digital files that need to be customised first so I just email those out. Id like my shop set to just send one email out when someone orders. If its an instant download they just get the virtual product email and if its a customised product they just get the order confirmation email. At the moment virtual product emails are not sending at all and I don't know why If you need more info let me know, Id like to get a quote for this to be done as soon as possible thanks Ive discovered it is in fact prestashop randomly deleting my virtual products, so until I can get an answer from them on that its best not to throw any more money into the site. Sorry don't know how to close this request but hopefully there is a solution then I can come back to tidying my emails up. thanks

Hi my emails to notify a customer they have a product to download just stopped sending. Ive posted an error I'm getting on orderhistory.php but no ones come back yet and my shops pointless without this function. So what other files control the emails? I thought I might replace them with ones from a back up I did a couple of weeks ago or at least run a comparison. Thanks Running 1.6 Ok turns out that it is in fact that the files are missing for the products, they have been deleted for some reason.

WHOO HOOO ! Found the issue but now what. The problem is the files aren't there, they are missing. When I click on the product in the BO and go to Virtual Product there is no longer any file there. Where have they gone??
