  1. Hmmm, u had a few problems, I dont have. I think best you try presta to see for yourself. Magento could be your soloution Good luck
  2. be care ful I tried this on presta a while back and the amount of options created can be huge,I liked presta but it really didnt handle option/varients very well as it ground to a halt every time I added some, a few other people at the time were having the same problem but maybe it is fixed now but it caused me to move to CS cart, dont know what your option problems are with cs, I have many clothes and shoes etc in many option combinations and works ok. I have over 7000 product on CS all with options? John
  3. Can I just check guys please. Am I able to immport my product options(features) so say I have a polo shirt that comes in red gren and blue but alos comes in sizes small medium and large, will presta allow inport of the features and create drop down boxes for both size and colour in the product details page. I hope so because this was one reason I moved away from presta last year as the features were a problem for multi featured products. Thanks John
  4. Presta is not good at handling many attributes, a shame as it is a good clean script. This is the reason I moved to CS Cart
  5. This is why I moved away from prestashop to CS Cart. its a shame but presta is not of use to anyone who has many attributes.
  6. Have a look at CS Cart, good import features, bulk product changing, and lots more, I only tried it last month and find it easy to navigate and use. Prestahop is good but CS cart has some good features too. John
  7. I seen a module in the forums a while agoI think... maybe it was called upsell or something. John
  8. Hey Dell, sorry I wasnt telling you to not panic, ...just a general comment for everyone. Is good that you highlighted it. Thanks John
  9. somebody just uploaded a big image into /img/logo.jpg dont panic!!!
  10. Tyndie, have a look here http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/10032/installation_configuration___upgrade/how_to_turn_off_carrierdeliveryshiping
  11. remane the JPEG you want to use as "logo.jpg" then place it in www.yoursite.com/img/ just rename them all as logo.jpeg and keep changing them
  12. If you modified your previous .htaccess in any way then you must mereg the 2, i.e the info in the on eyou modified must be in the one you generate in 1.2 this is in cases of where some servers must have the "AddType x-mapp-php5 .php" added to it. (you will know if you modified it) the best thing you can do is, copy or rename the old .htaccess. then go to back office admin preferences and turn on friendly URL. Then click the generate .htaccess button. (BE CARFULL this will erase your old .htaccess unless you copied or renamed it) and it will place the new V1.2 .htaccess in your root. if you didnt modify anything in your old .htaccess you should be fine John
  13. Streamline (RBS) provide the merchant bank...Sagepay(the new name for Protx) provide the gateway. The cost for the gateway is only£25 from Sagepay but streamline is chragde at different percentages dependant on what payments are processed..push them for the best deals they are trying to get more business at the moment. Im not sure of the streamline costs as our book keeper takes care of it but they do work together. I am using it on another site at the moment but will be integrating with prestashop. Good luck John
  14. does this help? http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/16173/modules/module_protx_direct_vsp_direct__on_site_payment JOhn
