Figured this one out. was caused by the her.php security thing. did the herfix and all is working now.

yeah my mcafee started warning me when i went to my site the other day too? could this have something to do with the email prestashop sent out about their website getting hacked and it affecting some prestashop sites??

A strange thing is happening on a clothing site I run for some friends. We sell a number of jumpers which all have sizes: small medium large xtra large however when you try and add one of these sizes to the cart they are adding the wrong size in as so : small -> small medium -> large large -> medium xtra large -> large I have no idea why this is going on. I tried to seach the forum but couldnt find anything on it. if you want to take a look the site is www.theyreforapparel.com thanks in advance

Since upgrading my prestashop to 1.4.4 the slideshow for matrice simply will not change image. It just sits on image 1 like a static image. is anyone else having this problem? any ideas why this might be happening?

cleared cache and it fixed itself? must have not downloaded the new htaccess.

I was working on my site before trying to get the standard currency block to show up in matrice which I managed to do and afterwards I disabled all the languages except english. Now whenever you load the site in firefox you get a 404 page. it still works fine in IE and chrome and I cannot figure out at all what is wrong with it? I have re-enabled the languages, regenerated the htaccess file. I just have no idea why this is happening. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? the site is www.theyreforapparel.com if you want to test it out. thanks -brendan

Is anyone else having this problem. It went away when I checked ages later and now its happening. Have been trying to get the list all day and it wont go past saying its uninstalling when its clearly not.

Found the answer here: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-1575 I edit both the ps_configuration table and login.php so not sure which one fixed it but i just signed in turned ssl off and undid my changes to login.php

I was messing around with the settings the other day and I activated SSL in the back office just to see what it did. I thought I had deactivated it again and I logged out today. now when I try to get to the log in page I get this error (firefox 4) SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) Is there a way I can get into the back office or deactivate the SSL. I still have access to my hosting through cPanel and FTP so if there are files I could change or something it would be awesome. I'm with host gator on the business plan which includes an SSL so if I request one could that fix the problem? Thanks in advance for any help! Brendan

Ive just edited a free theme I found on the internet a little bit and I'm still waiting for my friend to sort some business stuff out (like paypal and a bank account) before I take it off catalogue mode. He's only selling 3 products for now but that will get more in the future. tell me what you like/hate/think I can change

I've been working on setting up a Prestashop store recently for some friends of mine www.theyreforapparel.com However, I've just recently come across a problem with the Newsletter v2.0 module. So far we've got 13 people signed up for the newsletter and I have used Newsletter v2.0 to export a .CSV file before. But when I went in to the modules section today and clicked configure instead of taking me to the page where I can export the CSV it simple reloads the page and says module uninstalled successfully. However it still has the green tick next to the module. I've tried a heap of times and it's just the same thing. When I try to uninstall the module is says Module is already uninstalled but still has a green tick next to the name. I've deleted it completely and reuploaded it to my server. Still the exact same result. I have attached an image of the result after clicking configure. This is the only feedback Prestashop is giving me. This is something I need to get fixed as I wont be able to send newsletters without the list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
