Since I start to update the modules for my new version, some modules stop working :/ I really need you help and advise on this one, please: Browser - Firefox version 35.0.1 Prestashop version 1.6.0.7 Website store http://www.festival-trade.com NOT WORKING 1 - Product page * View full size image (don't work) 2 - Social sharing module * The module stop working (on product page, buttons are show but no action) *********************************************************************** 3 - ContentBox module * Image of contentbox dont show in product page side columm only show the text. (in product page, the image link have an extra (en) and this make the image to not show. Exp. On Home page image - ...img/cms/5.png On Product page image - ... /en/img/cms/5.png (SOLVED) = Removed uploaded image and added a link to an external image.) *********************************************************************** 4 - Products in the same category module * The module stop to work. (at the bottom of the product page, show images but dont work) 5 - Facebook like us block * Only show in Home page. Dosn't show on products page side columm (only show the header)? On Facebook (like us) block I would like to know how to... * Change the color of the Text header ? (Follow us on facebook) * Change the color of the text links ? (1332 like us on facebook) It Is hard to read this text on black background. I have try many things but nothing worked ! All this modules are enable in the shop at the moment for everyone to check it. If I dont find a solution for this problemes I will have to disable this. Quick html fix for that... 1- go to BO * Catalog -Categories - your category 2- Edit the category you want to change the image 3 - Look the location of the image you have there before delete (usual is img/tmp/category_5.jpg) 4 - write down the direction of the image (img/tmp/) and the name of the image (category_5.jpg) 5 - Now delete the image 6 - open ftp and send your image to that same folder with the exact same name of the image you deleted before 7 - go back to your BO *Catalogue - Categories - your category 8 - add this to the text board <img src=" http://www.yourwebsite/img/tmp/category_5.jpg" width="510" height="150"> <font color="#ffffff">TEXT IN CASE YOU WANT</font> 9 - Now go to your front office and refresh the page. Measures must be different for your template but you can change it as you like. Text is optional but because you always get some extra space around the frame, the text is a good option to fill the gap Must be a way to remove the frame space but I just remember to try this wile I was reading your post. Hope it works for you !

It is lots of bugs with images on prestashop 1.5.4.1 ! My themes page is faulty big time and for what I read in the forum is not only me . 1 - I upload images on my themes page in BO but they don't stay. After I save and refresh the page they disappear. (I have to go from ftp and upload the images I want, under the exact same name or else dont work. 2 - The favicon .ico dont show on the front shop or on themes page but show in BO browser tab. (If I upload a second icon by ftp and rename for favicon.jpg then the icon show in themes page but still, not on my front store tab or address bar. 3 - The color (Mail color) change but after I save and refresh the page, it come back to the same default color) 4 - The same happen with the mobile setting. If I change "enable it on both smart phones and tablets" after I save and refresh the page come back to default "enable it only on smart phones." 5 - The products image size stretch the images and the settings "product image - Image generated by" Doesn't make any effect. PLUS... Your silence to this topics don't help no one to solve the issues.

Hi I can not change the product page image size. Whatever I do, the image is stretch and looks bad. I did read about this but can not see a final conclusion as I did try it all ! Main point is... Can I create different image mesures for different catagories ? How do I make that happen ? I sale *CDs / DVDs / Books/ Crafts / Vinyl. All this images have different display sizes and I need to specify different mesurments to different products! The logic would be go to *Preferences - Images and create the necessery image sizes. Unfortunatlly I dont see a logic way to make this happen. Is any way around this ?

My store was very slow since last update and I trough my server had memory issues but after I read this, I disable the catch in BO and the store is flying again Thank you.. This is Insane ! The catch should be to speed up the store.

This is a shame Any E-commerce is offering this feature but prestashop still not let me create download packs from files already upload !? **************************** You cannot currently add combinations or virtual products to a pack. If you need to have packs with combinations, you will have to create single products for each combination. This is a known limitation that will be fixed in a coming version of PrestaShop. **************************** Thanks... A lot !

Hello Bob. Sorry my late reply but I been working blind on my store lately. Please clarify... I think on this new version I can create 1 product (download) and then add multiple products to that "main product" !? I been look around but the download side of prestashop looks a bit complicated to understand! 1- I upload 10 music tracks individual (for I sell individually) After I have the 10 tracks uploaded and posted as single file for download... 2- I can create a product (album) and instead to upload a zip file with the same 10 tracks , I can pull the tracks I upload before into this new (album) I create. Right !?
