  2. Just found the problem. I was using the Blockcategoriescache module instead of the standard blockcategories which came with Prestashop. When I disable the blockcategoriescache and enable the original one, my problem is solved. Next thing I will try is to figue out which lines in the config causes this. probably blockcategoriescache does not handle friendly URL correctly.
  3. I am looking for this too. see my topic: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/120162/ Still don't have a solution, when I found something, I will share my solution.
  4. I cannot manage to place my FB/twitter badges in the top menu-bar next to my searx-box. The image attached shows where I want to put my badge. It is a simple badge to link to my facebook/twitter-page. Tried to edit the jbx-menu files, but I can not find where to put my code. facebookbadge.JPG
  5. Did you try to clear your smarty-cache? I think in PS 1.4.3 you have to change the setting Force-compile in the Preferenced tab in Backoffice.
  6. Dank je! Ik zie alleen dat de carousel op de homepage het vandaag niet doet. Ga ik zo even naar kijken. Hoop hem morgen weer in de lucht te hebben :-)
  7. Dear all, At this moment I want to go live with my first site ever. This is my first project in website/webshop. Started completely blank with no knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP etc (well, honestly I was able to read/write at that moment %-P ). Thanks to all of you I made this site step by step. Spend a lot of hours on this forum... http://www.mekkadeco.nl Please leave your comments. Probably you see some issues regarding design/security etc. Thank you in advance. PS1: template + design was initialy made by someone else, but I almost changed the whole site/config/functionality by myself. PS2: my next project will be a shop based on PS 1.4.3. This one still runs 1.3.7.0. Upgrade to 1.4 will take too much time because my template is not 1.4-ready (I think).
  8. Hi Audictive, Wow, das ist ein sehr schöne Theme!! Welche module haben sie gebraucht für die Tabs im Product-seite? (excuse me for my bad German writing-language :-) )
  9. All, I have the following problem with Friendly URL. I read about 20 pages of Friendly URL-topics, but I cannot find a solution. I enabled Friendly URL in the BO. I generated a .htacces-file and Friendly URL seems to work fine. Except...for my category pages. These are still like: http://www.my-site.com/category.php?id_category=9 Other pages, like products, work fine. My categories have friendly-url tags in the backoffice. Who can help me find a solution?
  10. Thank you for your answer. I will try your method tonight. Then I will try to generate the ID's in excel so I can bulk-rename my files. At this moment I have around 200 products so that will be 200x2x6 (home, medium, thickbox etc)=2400 filenames to rename :-( I'll let you know.
  11. Dear all, Because I'm facing some quality-problems with the standard PS thumbnail generation, I have made the thumbs with Photoshop. Now I want to replace the PS generated files, with the ones I created in Photoshop. When I'm using 1 image per product, I noticed the filenames are a combination of ProductID-ProductID-size for ex. 1-1-home.jpg Now I have 2 images per product but I cannot find how PS renames the thumbfiles. now I have for example: 10-200.jpg..... Does anybody know which rule PS uses to name the thumb-files? Kind regards.
  12. found out adding the following in global.css works: original: background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); changed to: background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#7FFFFFFF,endColorstr=#7FFFFFFF)"; /* IE8 */ This works, for IE8. For IE6&7;the last line should be: filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#7FFFFFFF,endColorstr=#7FFFFFFF)"; /* IE6&7;*/ But, I would like to add both rules to support IE6/7 and 8. How to do that?
  13. All, Maybe the following link is useful for Presta-users: http://kimili.com/journal/rgba-hsla-css-generator-for-internet-explorer/ You can use this online RGBa converter to generate code which is supporte by IE (7/8 and up). I found this site because I'm facing a problem using RGBa for my center_column background. I noticed this background is only visible in safari/Chrome/Firefox, but not in IE :-( This site generates code to converts the rgba to conditinal comments to use with IE. The only issue I'm still looking for an answer is where to put the cond comm code. You cannot put it in global.css, but I think I have to create a separe php (?) file for this, but I don't know how to link global.css to this code. If somebody knows, please post it here so people can use this...
