  1. 50.000 seems like a lot of products. There is a lot that can go wrong and will go wrong when importing that many products. If I where you I would do one of the following: - Split the csv in to smaller bricks (at least smaller then 50.000) and increase memory size in php.ini file. and if that doesnt work i think you are reaching some limits mayby it's your hosting I dont know. So then it's better to - Install Prestashop on a Xampp or Mampp server locally and increase the memory size in your php.ini then import the products. Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  2. Have you tried using a different browser? Prestashop made the install look nice but sometimes stuff like Javascript or other code is interpreted differently. Did you also try installing it on a other location (like on your local computer)? Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  3. I suggest you get someone who knows more about Prestashop I could help you but not by writing each other messages trough this forum. I have to log in on the hosting and database to see whats going on. My knowledge of Prestashop only goes to a certain level. Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  4. Are you using any odd characters in your password or username?
  5. If you did it correctly you should find all your language files in your lang folder at: Themes/<your theme>/Lang. Why don't your reinstall Prestashop and copy the `ps_employee` table. And why isn't the query we send you working? What error does it give you? Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  6. Not only Cookie but <_COOKIE_> for you cookie the long one. and password of your choice. Kind regards,
  7. Hello, Do you know how phpMyAdmin works? If not you could use the first part of this article to get there: How to open phpMyAdmin. Once you have opened your database you click on sql and enter the following line: UPDATE `ps_employee` SET `passwd` = MD5('<_COOKIE_>password') WHERE `ps_employee`.`id_employee` = 1; Where cookie is from config file and password is the password you want. You can find the config file on your hosting using Filezilla for instance. Go to: config/settings.inc.php If this doesn't work please tell me I'm following this topic. Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  8. Hello, I don't know how it works in all those eastern country's what I do know is that every country has it's own favorite. Try to find out what your customers favorite option is. In my country (Holland) it's the dutch iDeal. But in Belgium it's different. Off course you could always add Paypal which is very easy. If you don't know how to add Paypal to your site I would love to write a article about it on my website. Please leave a comment or email if you need any assistance. Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  9. Hello, Are you sure you have downloaded all of your files correctly? All it does is check if the language file is there; languages/updateLanguages.sql'; if (!file_exists($file)) Tools::dieObject($file); if (! .... false) die(Tools::displayError('Invalid loadLanguage() SQL query!')); If there is something wrong with your language files or there simply not there it should give this error. Below my comment is my site where I write articles including one about how to move Prestashop you could try following this article. I think you don't need to chmod if you are working on a local mamp server. Please try and follow my article exactly (except for the chmod) and then tell me your results. Just to be sure your site is working on your current host right? What version of Prestashop are you using? Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  10. @[email protected] Hello to bad the article didn't work. I would love to make it better for future visitors so what should I tell me visitors? - Not to use underscores and strange characters in usernames and passwords? Or is there anything else? @hberenturk Are you hosting on a shared or a Virtual private server? If your are using a shared server you should contact your hosting for this problem maybe they can help you out? Kind regards, T. Barbillion
  11. I dont know if this will work but isn't it possible to change the query that selects the categories? I think it's at line 172 - 182 of modules/blockcategories/blockcategories.php: SELECT c.id_parent, c.id_category, cl.name, cl.description, cl.link_rewrite FROM `'._DB_PREFIX_.'category` c LEFT JOIN `'._DB_PREFIX_.'category_lang` cl ON (c.`id_category` = cl.`id_category` AND `id_lang` = '.$id_lang.') LEFT JOIN `'._DB_PREFIX_.'category_group` cg ON (cg.`id_category` = c.`id_category`) WHERE (c.`active` = 1 OR c.`id_category` = 1) '.((int)($maxdepth) != 0 ? ' AND `level_depth` <= '.(int)($maxdepth) : '').' AND cg.`id_group` IN ('.pSQL($groups).') GROUP BY id_category ORDER BY `level_depth` ASC, '.(Configuration::get('BLOCK_CATEG_SORT') ? 'cl.`name`' : 'c.`position`').' '.(Configuration::get('BLOCK_CATEG_SORT_WAY') ? 'DESC' : 'ASC')) I'm not that good with SQL query's may by somebody else could help you out with how to change the query. I dont recommend changing query's do. Kind Regards, T. Barbillion
  12. Have you tried calling the table names first and then giving them a alias? I called the tables a and b. UPDATE ps_product_lang a, ps_category_product b SET description_short='<h3>test</h3>' WHERE b.id_category = '5' AND a.id_lang=2
  13. Klopt. Maar het is wel nuttig. En op het webwinkelforum ook. Het kan namelijk echt aan zijn cache liggen. Dan kan ik dat hier op opnieuw typen. Maar ik heb er al een artikel over geschreven. Ik probeer. A mijn link te delen. Mvg, T. Barbillion
  14. Try turning of url rewriting and set everything to basic settings. Is the root directory in the settings.inc.php file set to /prestashop/? Kind regards, T. Barbillion howtomakeawebshop.com
  15. Al geprobeerd de hele module te verwijderen en daarna weer te activeren? En wat je ook kan proberen is het verwijderen van de smarty cache. Mvg, T. Barbillion i2imedia
