I have deleted everything in the cache folder and I still get a 500 error. Is there any other reason why this could be happening? Should I reupload the core files?

Hi, When clicking the checkout button, the system allows you to create an account but them when you click to checkout it goes to a blank white screen. I am running PS 1.4.2.5 and I dont want to upgrade because I have numerous customization. Does anyone know what the error is due to when the order process goes to a blank white screen like this? I need to get this fixed as I am losing sales left and right.

Hi, My shop goes to your cart is empty error when clicking checkout and my admin sign in goes to # when trying to login. I have PS Ver 1.4.2.5. Found the fix through another thread. I just uploaded a new php.ini file to my sites root directory. Fixed!

I have around 60 - 80 PS Stores all ranging from version 1.5 to 1.6. None of them work without using PHP 5.3 and I need them to work on PHP 5.4 or higher. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue with their server upgrading their PHP version. Errors I get are a blank screen, when I turn on error reporting in the settings.inc.php file, I get this error (PS version used is PS 1.6.0.5 Warning: PDO::__construct(): The server requested authentication method unknown to the client [mysql_old_password] in /home/username/public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php on line 44Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client If I add the htaccess code to change the store to PHP 5.3 it works perfectly.

Hi, I have a dedicated server with around 60 PS installs that are all PS Ver 1.5 and 1.6. At this time I have to put a line in the .htaccess file to run php5.3 or the shops throw errors and blank screens. I just purchased a new server and they do not service php5.3 only php5.4 or higher. If I transfer the sites they will all break. I am getting the following errors now Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/account/public_html/classes/db/DbPDO.php on line 217 Any ideas how to fix this so my shops with work. I have both the pdo_mysql and gd extenstions installed.

Hello Everyone! I have been dealing with an issue on a prestashop store and cannot figure out the problem for the life of me. This has been going on for months now!!! If anyone can lead me in a different direction, I would be so happy... ISSUE - PROBLEM I am using a paypal pro checkout module from Presto-Changeo for Paypal Pro. I get the orders fine but then randomly, an order comes in with no details on the products ordered. This seems like an issue with the module developer so I contacted them. They said that it is a PS issue. So I purchased a new Paypal Pro Module from Prestashop store. I thought my problems were fixed, but then, the issue happened again!! Exactly like it does with the original module. I put the module back to the original as I like it better. I contacted Prestashop store to ask if the theme I purchased maybe had a bug. They told me to change the theme back to the bootstrap original to see if that fixes the issue. THAT DID NOT WORK EITHER! With the default theme, the issue seemed to work until the error randomly happened again. I changed the theme back to the one I purchased from Prestashop. Any ideas from anyone? It seems like there is an error from Paypal back to my shop on the order, but what kind of things can I check to find where the problem is?? Thanks everyone!

Hello, I have a few stores that run ps 1.5 and 1.6 (I know I should upgrade but I have custom themes and upgrading leads to a mess everytime I try) Anyhow, I have Paypal USA Canada, it is not the Paid Paypal Pro module. For some reason this module will take the order successfully and send it to my paypal account, however, the order is never recorded in the orders section of the dashboard. It is like it never happened, however, it does create a customer record. The only way I know the order went through is when I get an order from Paypal. I have tried just about everything and cannot figure this out.

I changed my php memory to 256M and the stores still have the same issue. There are only 2 stores that are having issues, I have a bunch of other stores that are fine. Same versions too.

I do have it set at 2048M you can see it. I posted a link but then thought that was probably not a smart idea, so I will pm it to you El Patron Please take a look at the above link and let me know what you think.

I have tried checking the quota, the chmod, the ownership, commenting out the 607 line on db.php and nothing seems to make it work. I cleared the cache and cookies and it worked for a while then it went back to that error again.

I have V1.6 and the images show correct in the administration area dashboard. The image on the website are images of other products in my website (not the correct images). I have tried regenerating images, and clearing cache. How can I get the images in the back office to match the one on the website?

Hi, I am running PS VER 1.4.7 I need a module that can do a buy one get one free however, I need the module to specify the rule to apply with selected products. For instance, if a customer buys two items they get one free. However, if they buy 3 the third item would be normal cost. If they purchase 4 the rule would work because they purchased two sets of two. I hope anyone out there knows of a module I can get to pull this off. I have tried this both in Price Rules and Vouchers and they do not have the capabilities I need. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I modified my cms info block text and now my tm parallax background image is not showing up at all. I add a image and nothing not even a question mark showing an error. Does anyone know why all of the sudden this image dissapeared?
