I'm a NOOB trying to carve out a career in the Web Design/Dev/e-Commerce arena. I say NOOB, but have been working into my current skillset for four years, and am self-taught by the WONDERFUL resources and communities that those more seasoned than I contribute to, hoping one day to inspire or help someone like me. I'd like to say "Thank you" in advance if you are someone helping me along... and "Hang In There! You can do it if you give it 100%" if you are a fellow NOOB. :)

  1. I am REALLY in desperate need of help with an issue regarding Authorize.net Module v1.4.2. We have already tried everything we've found in related posts (although most seemed to be related to PS v1.4.7, and sounded as though they would be fixed in 1.4.8.) There seems to be a LOT of info below, I know, but I've tried to be extremely thorough upfront, having seen some of the questions coming back and forth - This is really urgent for me, so I don't want to waste anyone's time. THANK YOU!! My server info: Host: Hostmonster Apache 2.2.22 PHP v 5.2.17 MySQL v5.1.63-community-log Architecture: x86_64 OS: Linux SSL: YES- For this domain, as my main domain, & running on Dedicated IP. Prestashop Info: Prestashop v1.4.8 Authorize.net Module v1.4.2 CC Processor is E-Processing, and they use an Authorize.net Emulator to process the transactions. ISSUE: After entering in Credit Card information and clicking the "Validate" button, the credit card process perfectly through the gateway - (Confirmed WITH gateway, and can see the transactions with gateway portal) However, the end user is taken to 'https://www.dggunshop.net/modules/authorizeaim/validation.php, a page that says: "Authorize.net has returned a malformed response, abort. " Product remains in cart, even though CC was charged. TRIED the following: In the validation.php (attached below), I have changed the URL from Authorize.net to our gateways, eproccessing network, URL. No other changes have been made. Uninstalled Authorize.net module and reinstalled several times, including updating to the newest v1.4.2. validation.php.zip If ANYONE could offer some assistance with this, I would be SO appreciative!! Thank you, Kiley
  2. I have an issue very similar to this. I have a product inventory of nearly 7000 products and have somehow wiped out the img/p directory. Like Grant, It is giving me a heart attack to think of reimporting each indv csv to fix this, as they all have different 'features', etc. I'm looking in the AdminImport.php file, and was hoping to find a way to do something that would recreate these images and populate the img/p directory again for me. I am DESPERATE and would love ANY thoughts you may have to try. This was a live site and I'm totally freaking out!! Thanks so much!!
  3. Looking for some ideas how to modify a forced ship-to address in the checkout process. This website is for a firearms store. The store will be selling guns, knives, accessories, ammo, gift certificates, instructional classes, etc. LEGALLY, if purchasing a GUN, however, he can ONLY SHIP to another licensed dealer in the customer's area, and the customer will need to pickup the gun from their local dealer of choice. I have the data file of the firearms dealers address/info, and plan to enter into the database and it will be maintained and updated monthly. My idea I would like to brainstorm if anyone is willing: Adding an additional 'checkout step' that would only happen if there were a "firearm" present in the shopping cart at the start of the checkout process. Here are the objectives: If there is a (tagged) 'firearm' in the cart at checkout, a list of licensed dealers will show, and the customer MUST select a licensed dealer from the list in order to complete the checkout. If the cart has a combination of products (ex: firearm and ammo), it would be 'split-shipped', with everything going directly to the customer except the firearm. ANY thoughts or ideas to point me in the right direction would be VERY appreciated. THANK YOU!! Kiley
