I am trying to enable stock management for my products. I have a number of products that have combnations, but the combinations do not affect the the stock quanties, they are just add ons like color, when I have conbinations that do not affect the stock qty what should I set? I tried setting all to zero then my product shows out of stock. if I have set to qty to 0, I still need to allow the customers to be able to order the conbination. pleas ehelp.

I have a few products that I need to break into multiple boxes for shipping. when creating a product there is only one package information possible. Is there a way to add multiple packages for a product to determine shipping? or is there a way to have another product added to the product list if the main product is selected. for example: if the cusotmer selects a kit the cart will add two products to the list. this wold be to determine the packaging size and weight to determine shipping for the complete kit. hopefully I explained it good enough to understand what I am looking for. thanks

I just attempted to upgrade from 1.4.2 to 1.4.6.2 and after the upgrade only the header images and fotter sections are displayed. no left column, center colunm there is not even the currency info. I checked modules and positions all look OK. any suggestions on where to look why this version is generating only a few parts of the theme? I even went back to the default shipped theme, that was even worse. that just displayed the little logo image. thakns for any suggestions.

I am getting teh exact same error. I tried re-entering the password a numbe rof times, same error PayPal response: TIMESTAMP -> 2011-04-08T03:05:57Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error PayPal returned error has anyone fund a fix for this? I agree looking forward to 1.4. one question though. Whe different behavious on the UPS, UPS and FedEx carriers. I am hoping that Fedex hav ethe same behaviour as teh other 2, I think cusotmers should have a choice for FedEx like they do for the other 2.

There has been no help or replies. little concerns about if PrestaShop is serious about this. customer service seems very very sparse.

I am also having this issue with USPS shipping and I am one the USPS Production servers. I shipping cost from USPS are very bizarre, no where close to the charges you get on their site.

I have a few products that have zero weight. I am using these few products as a way to do pre-orders for out of stock items. the price is $100.00 and the dimensions and weight are all zero. but during checkup in the -- Shipping -- it displays a list of carriers . USPS is $6.20 and USP $16.67 I would expect there to by no shipping carriers because the total of the products in my cart are all weight equal to zero. has any one else able to handle products we zero weight. This is the only thing holding me up to publishing by site ( besides FedEx shipping which does not seem to wrok on 1.4 and getting no answers ) any help or even assurance that somethine else can handle products with zero weight. I have seen other eCommerce products I have been looking at handle "virture" type products much cleanier but Prestatshop has some other features I do like. Any hep would be gratly appreciated. OK I seem to be still having an issue with shipping charges on items that are zero weight. I read through teh post, set up special weight ranges for 0.00 - 0.000001 lbs went into fees typesin 0.00 but when I add a product with zero weight I still get a shipping charges, seems to be the minimal for the carrier. what am I doing wrong? Maybe I just do not understand the steps I need to do correctly/ Thanks

I am experiencing teh exact same issue with USPS shipping module.

I just installed the 1.4 RC2 version and added a numbe rof products. I include size infomration and weight for each. when it calculates shipping it seems to do a very nice job for one item when I add additiona items it seems to only give me the shipping cost for the lst item I added to my cart. new items - I see only shipping for tis item updated utem count - it see only shipping fo r1 item not for multiples. is anyone else seeing this issue? thanks
