Hi! How would I go about performing a stock take using Prestashop? Is it possible to go to a category and get a list of each item and the quantity so I can then count the physical stock and then make any corrections easily? Thanks,

Thanks for the replys! I had already been to that link but it only says that a couple of the folders should be set to 777 but it does not say what the other files and folders should be set at - as I have said, at the moment all my files and folders are set to 777 so that doesnt help me

I've just transferred my prestashop from one host to another. It looks like the file permissions are now all set the same. What should the file permissions be? At the moment I think they are pretty much set at 777 so I need to sort this out soon! Thanks,

I've managed to sort this myself now. I found the footer.tpl file in the theme folder and added the message at the bottom of it.

Hi! I'm just finalising my PrestaShop website ready to be launched in April 2009! How can I add a copyright message to the bottom of every page? What I would like to do is put a line underneath the options at the bottom of the page that say "specials | New Products | Top Sellers" etc. and then put something that says "Copyright 2009 - All Rights Reserved - All Trademarks Acknowledged" Many thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks for the replies! I have set both free shipping options to 0 and the message has now gone away! I tried setting one of them to 0 and it didnt work and I forgot to put the other one at 0 as well...

After adding a few items to the cart, if you then click on the cart to see it's content I get the following message appear at the bottom: Remaining amount to be added to your cart in order to obtain free shipping How can I remove this message as it's not something I can afford to offer at this early stage of my business plan? I tried to implement my shared SSL certificate but when I did so my website stopped working - just a blank page when going to the website and an error when trying to get to the back office part saying " “Current theme unavailable. Please check your theme directory name and permissions.” I edited the Link.php and init.php files as per this thread here: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/12819/installation_configuration___upgrade/ssl_certificate__shared_or_dedicated/ I have copied the original unedited files back but the problem still exists - a blank screen when I go to my website. Anyone any ideas how I can get back online?

I have changed “$_server” in both files to that of the link my hosts gave me but now my website doesnt work. When i go to my website I just get a blank page and when I go to the backend I get a message saying "Current theme unavailable. Please check your theme directory name and permissions." Hi! I have just successfully removed the powered by PrestaShop link on the home page of my shop. I have not done this because I dont like Prestashop (as I love it) I have done this for security reasons. If someone works out what ecommerce solution you have they can possibly try and find a weakness (bug) and exploit it. I will however be placing a link on my personal website linking to the prestashop home page as I have had a go with several ecommerce solutions over the last 3 months and for me PrestaShop is without a doubt the best solution out there that best suits my needs.

Hi! My Prestashop is taking a little while to load so I'm wondering if there is a way of speeding it up? Once the shop has loaded you can browse all the items (over 101) quite fast but the initial loading of the page is not as fast as it should be. Is there something I can do or remove to speed things up?
