  1. Just wanted to say thank you, it solved our problem for combination products too
  2. Yes I do, I uploaded it here: https://mega.nz/#!xBRlyaJJ!J0e85NjfW-cAZkm8T-QhLkxafy3_ST6YMVpJqMGE_hY Hope this works for you!
  3. Hey guys, I know the thread is marked as solved but others still had the same issue is seems and I too had the same problem. I have found a simple fix - after seeing that one of my shop was still working while the others weren't. All my shop are on Presta 1.6 but one of them was using an outdated version of the Google Analytics module (version 1.3). I uploaded this old version to my other shops and sure enough the HTTP response error disappeared. Hope this helps others!
  4. Maybe someone may have an idea about how I could go about tracking what's happening to try and find the cause?
  5. Hi tuk66, Thanks for the reply, Indeed something is not being passed on properly, please see this screenshot - sometimes the carrier is fine (ID 72) sometimes it just shows ID 0? http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/55115bd771f2f8-55754945 Let me know what you think. Edit: Express delivery is being recorded, see ID 56: http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/55115cd396bba4-17704668
  6. Hi there, I have recently upgraded a shop from Prestashop 1.4.x to Prestashop 1.6.0.9 I've sorted out most glitches excepting one that only happens intermittently so it's really to to recreate the problem and fix it. I'm hoping some of you would have ideas to find out more about it. Here is what happens: - Customers place orders on the website without problem - On the back-end under "Orders > Orders" I click on an order to get the details - On the "Shipping" section sometimes the details are blank, sometimes they are fine. See screenshots: Blank: http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/5511553b21dc50-85873315 Fine: http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/5511551598bdd9-99089672 I can't find a pattern, for instance I tried to see if the payment option chosen had an impact but it hasn't, nothing special about the product chosen the address of the customers or their status (new / existing). I also tried to delete the shipping methods and re-create new ones with the same details (I thought it could be a simple bug after the upgrade). Now I'm stuck - I need this information because the shop offers express delivery so we need to make sure the right information is passed on! If anyone has an idea, any help would be much appreciated.
  7. Thank you for your messages but I have already awarded the job.
  8. I've done a fair bit of work on it, hope the customers will like it! Thanks for your kind messages
  9. Thanks El Patron, I might well do next time to be honest! Although again I guess it was cheaper for me to do most of the job myself this time.
  10. Hi all, Many thanks for the messages - I have received some great applications from excellent freelancers and companies and I have found someone for the job. Because I could do the upgrade myself it was a lot cheaper for me to simply ask someone to do a one-off migration of customer data when ready. I'm not sure how else I could have done the upgrade to preta 1.6 - upgrading Prestashop, checking all the modules (some custom), creating the new template takes time so I wanted to test everything before making it live. I guessed making a copy of the live website to a test server was the best thing to do in this instance? If you have another way I would love to hear it for next time.
  11. Hi there, I created a duplicate of a Live website a couple of month ago in order to upgrade the version of Prestashop (prestashop 1.4 to 1.6) and the design. Now the test website is pretty much ready but I need to transfer all the up-to-date data from the Live website to the Test website before transferring the whole Test website back to the live server (I hope this makes sense). So the job is for transferring all the Live, current data to the test website. There is - less than 4000 product IDs (some of them have combinations, not sure how many combinations there is though) - less than 7000 orders - less than 7000 customers You don't need to create a script, I just need this to be done once so I guess database manipulation is fine if you it's easier for you. Some of the data is already there as I started with a copy of the live website but I guess that's irrelevant. To avoid having new orders I guess I can close the shop for a short period of time - less than 24h if possible, please advise if this is suitable in your experience. Please also quote extra for transferring the Test website back to the Live server when it is ready, so that you do everything in one go. Please reply to this thread if you have any questions and / or send your quote by PM. If you need the website URL I'll send it by PM. Thanks in advance!
  12. Wow I have finally found the issue... Very unexpected and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere on the web (trust me I tried everything lol) The FTP had a limit of files that can be seen. When accessing my img/p/ folder only 10000 files would be displayed and the rest would simply not be shown anywhere. Even when transferring the whole p folder it would only take in account 10 000 files. It came to my attention after seeing the message "226 Output truncated to 10000 matches" on my FTP client. I have contacted my hosting company and they have raised the limit to 25 000 so I can now see all the files and transfer them properly! Hopefully it will be useful to someone else [sOLVED]!
  13. Finally some progress in my understanding: On the LIVE website (where all the products are displayed properly) I can only see the product images up to a certain ID on the img/p folder. Basically the last image I can find on the img/p folder is 2568-3282.jpg (referring to product ID 2568). HOWEVER the shop has a lot more product than that, it goes up to product ID 3300 and + I have checked on my test website and indeed all the products with a missing image have an ID above 2568. Now my specific question is as follows: if these images are not under img/p on the live server then where are they?? Looking at the path on the front end does not give me a clue as the path is re-written (friendly url). I'm reluctant to turn off friendly url on the live website because I suspect a bug of some sort and I don't want the live website to be left with missing images! Example of friendly url: /3319-4126-home/olpro-sanidry-dehumidifying-tray-white.jpg So does anyone know where these images are or how I can find the real path of the image?
  14. I'm really running out of ideas. I tried to set all the image to 777 before moving and regenerating them and several other stuff with no luck. I still have a batch of photos showing and a batch of photos missing. Any help would be really appreciated!
